They start to sail again this will start to recover, it's just whether you wan't to hold for long term, or try to make quick profits buying and selling, which that is ok if you can read a crystall ball.
No sorry goldenshares but they can, they did it with Barclays went ex divi then said because of covid19 and guidance from BOE they were withholding it.
This to good to be true holding up first thing this morning, great day yesterday only to lose half of it today, lets hope it turns better this afternoon and not worse.
Yes i wasn't sure when i posted that yesterday, but looking it up you can sell on ex-divi day and collect the divi. We are having a more down day today for some reason than other ins stocks.
I don't want to sound negative here goldenshares, but even going ex divi day doesn't guarantee that LGEN will pay it, i think they will but they could still stop it.
I am in LGEN as well as this, but you do know that most likely LGEN will drop on Thursday because of the ex divi day. What gets me is why are are most stocks down today because of the crash in oil.
Share doesn't know what to today, mind you a lot of shares are like this today, yet they were saying this morning that shares would have a strong oppening.
That's a bit rough then because people could be buying to get the divi and might not receive it, also most likely the share price will drop on ex divi day.
could anyone answer this question, it's ex divi day next Thursday now they will probably go down on that day, but from ex divi day to when they pay it could the board say we have decided not to pay the divi.
You don't need any tips, because at the moment you can make money on nearly every share you buy. The only thing is if you can get the timing right. The trouble is now they are all retreating south which that seems to happen every time.
