Hopefully you did not take too much notice of the Moderna CEO who single handily managed to spook the entire stock market as a whole. Moreover, I really wander why the Moderna CEO had to be saying differently from the Pfizer, Oxford AstraZeneca guys. Imo, this is why never listen and action on the bases of just one person no matter how important is their status or in this scenario even when they're one of the top three covid 19 vaccine manufacturers. Unfortunately, I pulled out all my £16k at 8p Vls investment on Monday afternoon after deciding not to want to risk it. Great to see we had an opening upwards gap in HBR this morning as for the rest of other stocks too. Anyhow, I believe that anything it's possible for the hbr BoD if they think that is a great not to be missed opportunity since they're already the 'kid's playing in the block' with the big O&G toys and who not better that themselves being from the same hood. BEIJING, Nov 29 (Reuters) – CNOOC Ltd , a listed branch of China National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC) SASACY.UL , said on Monday it had started production at the second phase of its Buzzard project in Britain.

The project is expected to reach peak production of about 12,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2022, driving Buzzard's total production to 80,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Located 100 km (62 miles) northeast of Aberdeen with average water depth of about 96 metres, the project will use the existing Buzzard facility and has built a set of underwater production systems, two production wells and two water injection wells.

CNOOC Petroleum Europe Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of CNOOC Ltd, is the operator of Buzzard and holds 43.21% interest in the project.
The remaining interests are held by Suncor Energy , Harbour Energy and ONE-Dyas.

Blessing in disguise: Omicron variant may be ‘very positive’ news for the world if new Covid mutation kills off more lethal Delta coronavirus.

Hospitals and GPs across Southern Africa are increasingly reporting that the symptoms of the aggressive new Covid strain Omicron are “unusual but very mild,” according to various media in South Africa this weekend.

Around 90 per cent of all new infections in the Johannesburg region are now caused by the Omicron strain but, so far, the Covid death rate and even hospital admissions appear not to be increasing significantly, local media report.

Some experts are therefore cautiously optimistic that – if Omicron turns out to be less lethal but more contagious and dominant than the Delta variant – the new mutation may actually be a blessing in the sky.

I spoke with an non Velocys institutional investor in regards to the Velocy oversubscribed successful placement, and they stated although the current Omnicron scaremongering could just slightly push Velocys under the 8p mark, it would be a very short lived event. They said that ideally you would had been better to have bought Velocys at 8p back on Black Friday as the chance of buying sub 8p will be out of reach of many pi as the MM's will flash it all the way up and leave many to pay a higher entry price if they wish to get in on Monday morning. You all might be too late to grab that 8p rare share price entry target. I just could not believe myself getting at the same level as the big city boys without needing to spend millions. If the Harbour Energy MM's wanted to drop it more, then why wait till Monday to hammer the stock? I really doubt it will get dropped again. Its done and dusted and will be climbing back with the momentum that got stalled by the new SA variant Omnicron.

I'm in the belief that what has been done on Black Friday was all the was needed to do in regards as to tree shaking the oil stocks. Unfortunately, the travel stocks will be hammered more as they have an immediate loss of revenue in comparison to oils stocks companies like HBR since the flights journeys for those countries will be heavily affected and this has repercussions in attached related businesses like booking holiday agents, hotels, cruise liners, aviation, banks and insurance stocks. I don't see how the MM's would benefit from dropping the stocks as it had done already on Friday down to £3.90 and bounced back to close above £4. Nonetheless, I do see the risk is definitely out there and it would depend on the MM's to decide if that is necessary to reverse what was a steady upwards climb that was going easily for the £4.50 had not been for those South African scientist screaming New Variant as if it was the first time. If you read the South African news, the government tourism minister was furious with the rest of the world for not giving them time to assess their initial findings and allow a delayed knee jerk reaction. Unfortunately, every concerned country went on the full alert and shut them out. Imo, they should had been less dramatic as all the top news stations have jumped on it and are making a sing song out of it. It's quite frustrating to be once again at the mercy of the politicians and the Tv News reporters.
