I may be NOEXPERT but you should still the same amount of AMC.L shares in the same broker account.
The Halifax confirmed mine yesterday and sure enough it shows as on it's way in my dividend history section.
I am still holding the same amount of shares but they are right down in value....hopefully top up soon if price stays low...sucker for punishment me.
NE
Mine too Theo...spoke to them this morning...no corporate action needed as it is a dividend payment straight into my bank account...so hopefully by Friday I'll have the cash...wishing I'd sold in the 40p days but waited for the £1 party...this is by far my longest hold been here since 2008....recommended these to a lot of people in 2012 and they all sold in the 2015 spike and thanked me...wish I'd have taken my own advice..but hey I'm NOEXPERT
I only got these on Monday...about time I made a profit...hope I haven't sold too quickly..they are already past they 1.6 I sold at
Good luck all
Hi Gary.. yeah been there a few times won it a few too. I like my horses. I do have other shares but not in aim
My Lloyd's are doing well after a 38p buy a month or so ago.
Never gonna make up for dire decisions in amc and kefi...yet at one stage especially amc I could have come away with loads of cash as they hit 44p
I may be NOEXPERT but I have spotted the potential in EME to get back toward 2-3p and am willing to hold them for a while until they release the GSA news or they attempt a drill of Topaz.
For those of you who feel sorry for people with massive paper losses on AIM my portfolio looks like this
AMC.L down 75%
ARCM.L down 97%
KEFI Minerals down 98%
EME.L down 10%
I can only see hope with EME the others are lost causes.
I may be NOEXPERT but please read it again 239,000 historic mined ounces and 2.91 million in the Jun report of predicted ounces left. Obviously if this is proven and that's a massive IF then this will go off the scale similar to eua.
I have held these since 2009 - and got caught in many consolidations - my average is a staggering 33p what i wouldn't give for 10x where we are now so I could sell up and rid myself of this Share once and for all..a few years ago I split my holding up between mine and the wife's accounts but still lost out in doing that as I had to sell some and then re-buy them in her account.
Hi Justinterested15,
I am Noexpert
I have held my shares in AMC now since 2008, i was advised to sell when they reached 40p in 2015 but wanted to live the £1 party dream and didn't missing out on £1000s of profit, did sell a few on the way down at 12p and made a few grand but wish i'd have sold the lot!!
Best regards

I maybe NOEXPERT but
Years ago (and I do mean 2008 - shorting was dragging down AMC for ages - then somebody posted a comment about how to stop shorters. I can remember it was something like this.
Set a high sell price on you stock then your broker has to get back your shares if they have loaned them out to shorters due to the fact that they would have to have them to hit the sell price (even though it is unlikely) I set mine for AMC at 50p and sure enough the share price recovered and went on to reach 44p (so mine still didn't sell but shorting seemed to slow down dramatically.
I'm setting my sell price for HZM at 50p today
I wish I had sold m y AMC shares at 44p i'd have made a fortune but my worst deal yet was selling EUA at 1/3 p to finance buying HZM at 2p which I did and although HZM are in Profit the £3k i raised from the sale of EUA would have been worth approx £175,000 when they reached 44p
moral of story is to set a sell limit and stick to it and don't get greedy.
Lol rant over - don't forget to set your sell prices
NE
I bought EUA at 0.3p it has risen over %5000 since and i would be sitting on well over £120000 but I needed the money for my car so I just looked at the shares i had in my portfolio AMC,EUA ,KEFI and HZM and chose EUA to sell - hindsight is a wonderful thing...having said all that when they got to 6p i'd have bailed as that would have been more money than i'd ever made!!
Take a tip from me guys, never exit a share you have had for years with the words "these aint doing anything i'll sell up"
I sold 404000 EUA shares last year at less than 1/3 of a penny and made a loss of £500 on my original investment.
I left them on my watchlist and forgot until a mate texted me and said they had gone up and up and up and now my 404000 share would be worth £120000 and they are still rising.
Sometimes you got to be patient - did buy a nice car with the sale though as i needed the deposit but gutted is not the word!!
I am definately NoEXPERT
