If there is a buyer accumulating, how does the worm know other than it being a pump and dump operation?

Another message from the dug out from someone who doesn't like debate because truth makes him look stupid and he resorts to abuse, but he annoyed un-allied readers with his abuse so he skulked off into his bunker - the dug out.

What does the worm mean - that the buyer will go away?

What has the worm been been alluding to with all of his talk about "the buyer"? Is he trying to suggest that this mythical buyer is someone who sees the longer term potential of FLX and is trying accumulate a sizeable holding for the long term, or does the worm mean someone looking for a quick gain.

If it is someone who sees the long term potential, why would they go away?

Is this pump and dump - the worm does the pumping and the buyer buys, then dumps?

I very much doubt that it can be worse than anywhere else.

The gripes that you have noted are found in the vast majority of companies. There's nothing unusual there. I'm retired now, but for about half of my working life I had boring jobs with unchallenging work and few promotion opportunities. If any of the workers aren't happy, then they are free to.either accept it or leave and look for a job elsewhere. That's what I did.

The company is doing very well in winning new business. Let's hope for new contract wins soon and a rising sp.

No disagreement re Tanz and mines.

Just a point on "nevertheless it isn't all that easy running a profitable gold mine without the expertise and oversight of experienced management" - exactly! When the gold price is low and it's tough to make a profit, gov'ts don't want them - but when gold is at a price that is so high that any idiot can run a mine profitably, they want them.

I have a bit of disagreement on Zim - "They have yet to go down the asset seizure path though." - I'm pretty sure they siezed many white-owned businesses and definitely they seized white-owned farms. When the gold price rockets, they will take the mines - see my point above above when gov'ts do or do not want mines.

Having said all that - I hope that, when gold shoots up, it never happens and I am proved wrong.

I was viciously attacked for my views wthen I doubted their forecasts of higher prices.

No problem the_shareminator - I never took it as a dig.

BTW - years ago, I believed that a rising gold price could send this to 75p and, of course, higher depending on how high the gold price reached. Having now seen how the Tanz gov't attacked ACA, I fear that a much higher gold price would result in the Tanz gov't, and oher African governments, stealing the mines - nationalisation - possibly even without compensation. Just imho.

I used to have high hopes for SHG and I have hung on for a good few years waiting and waiting.

A few months ago, after someone on here had used an exclamation mark on their upbeat forecast, I said I would save the exclamation mark for when it gets to 12p.

I did possibly make a comment about 10p as well.

Please see my previous posting to FK1 for my view on this - which is. basically, that I think SHG is a good company but the political risk makes me nervous, so much so that I have lost interest and rarely come to this board.

Hi FK, what a surprise seeing you on here.

This board has a lot of posters who keep telling us that the sp is going to rocket, but they have been saying that for a long time.

To be fair, it has picked up from about 4.5p or 5p to today's price, probably to do with the rising gold price.

I see Shanta as a well run company with highly competent management and good quality assets - but so was ACA and look at what happened there.

That makes me nervous, and probably a lot of other investors too, and it it hadn't been for that, I think the sp would be 10p to 12p so those who keep forecasting a rise would have been right.

Tanzania makes me nervous and so, sadly since SHG is a good company, I would like to get out and find another play on a rising gold price.

If the Tanz gov't does pay up with the VAT refund, I might change my mind, but they have prorogued it for a long time now and I suspect that they think can get away with never paying it.

Lost the plot? Before the slimeball had his change of heart, he was tipping this as a buy.

Saying don't buy until ... etc., was simply a warning against listening to the slimeball. As simple as that.

Any opinions on the chance of this dropping back to 1.25p then, after the Interims come out, shooting up to 2p again? i.e. another chance for a quick circa 50% gain, as has just happened.
