Yep basf havnt budged , reading their statement regarding the takeover in 2023 they stated the basf shares will be monetised over years. We might see hbr buy back the shares themselves in bulk at a time. i.e 250million in bulk at a time would soon see basf sell their full position.

and as for City im hoping this is the catalyst we need for long term major investment. Fingers crossed we have seen the end to the sp in the 100's !

And looking through the history thanks to google it was noted in April 2023 that citi bank new york owned 144,574,081 shares 17.4% of original hbr which was also more than eig back then.

i can only imagine now we will see further buying from citi.

Just checked market screener and citibank are now the second largest holder with 8.3% of the company , more than EIG !!! owning 120,873,184 shares !!

This has to be significant !

Citigroup global markets also own 4% of the company with 59million shares.

Just checked ft.com and CitiGroup global markets ltd are now the largest institutional holder by far with 59 million shares !

Vanguard were the largest with 29million so the movement by citigroup by such a large amount is very interesting !

This is what happens when shares re rate, the share increases 2% a day and before you know it it's up 20% in 2 weeks. It also means traders get burnt so I'm happy with that.

We wish but shell have just announced they are creating a new north sea company with equinor. Doubt they will want to put all their eggs in one basket and purchase 180k worth of production to pay more tax.

The UK doesn't need gas or the north sea ........ labour idiots. Good news I'd say, especially saying gas is a "green" energy. "The British government is pushing forward with clean energy initiatives to lower energy bills and reduce reliance on imported fossil fuels."
