Even further share dilution , more debt and minor revenue growth will only mean less market cap so therefor a worse share price ! Hence the sp movement after the Wintershall deal ! Basf havnt even started selling yet !

The market is not insane , the company have just stated that almost 50% of its portfolio is in managed decline , as in the production will only get worse , just like the SP. The market doesnt like negative news.

Its like saying Tescos is closing 50% of its stores , the sp would drop there also !

Thing is the reason this is so low is because no one knows where the price of oil is going , generally a stock is traded looking at 6 months in the future , and the way tarrifs are going oil could be $50 ! The global economy is looks pretty dire.

In all honesty I have been in one of their distribution centers and talk about being stuck in the dark ages compared to competitors.

Do not hold this share . simple.

Probs selling off just incase results aren't great

Looking at ft.com vanguard held 28million shares and now have sold down to 20million shares. Interesting.

im still out of hbr , keeping a close eye on it all.

I sold at 201p for a tiny profit. The fundamentals with harbour arent changing , its still that trading share which is tiresome to hold as when you get confident your profit gets wiped out randomly with no justification. I thought the "new" hbr would be much more resilient to trading , however clearly it isnt. Hopefully will be able to buy back in at 189p'ish , still 3 weeks before the trading update.

Who doesn't love buying hbr at 200p? ;-)

Personally I think the sp is slowly re rating to oil being around the $70 dollar mark , the last time the sp was 210p was when oil was $77 during the short iran escalation. Its good that the sp is on the increase when oil is lower.

More buys than sells again though, and a nice ut pushing up the sp by 1p last minute before close from 204.2p to 205.2p.

Global energy demand , potential us sanctions on russia ! High European gas prices due to heatwave , low inventory , US drilling less. The list goes on.

So i wonder if the sp was tanked to the 240's on purpose for the likes of citi and L1 to enter, in the meantime giving us long term followers a chance to buy even more of a bargain ?

after all citi used to be a long term substantial holder before they sold out fully and now re entered.

Honestly I swear theres pro traders who come on here trying to get long term holders to sell filling us with bad vibes. That lucky guy being one.

I feel like im in that category too , managed to work a great holding with an average of 194p where i have invested more than ever now. Now my plan is to enjoy holding and watch the improved results come through along with a forever growing sp while receiving excellent dividends.
