Sting69.... Was feeling very despondent in ukog and the way things were going for us but took your advice to stop moaning about it ie get my average down or sell up..... Happy with my position now ..... But feel as if i have become a turn coat as still not happy with the bod but dont say as much as now i have more to lose ......

Funny how things change...... Not so long ago i was well under water with ukog being a lth....... The same with ggp...... Sxx was and still is doing ok.....but sold a chunk of sxx and put it in ggp.....3 bagged there..... Now on a free ride....put my profit into ukog and my average right down......if ukog comes good i will have done well ......why does this make me feel gulty ?

JohnyBG....you are clutching at straws at this stage.... I have worked along side slum and weatherford the final pump speed will be worked out on many variables which are to many to list here..... Natural presure well presure ie..... What the pump is happy runing at what the well is happy to give at set choke that is the whole idea of ewt ...fine tuning..... I can assure you, you can't work it out either way from where you are sitting.... But the fact that the pump is working at various speeds and oil has been produced bodes good

minden....I personally know a good number of in experienced pi's that bought in on the spike and average over 6p. but will not consider trying to get there average down as they consider this to be a long time hold and possible ? bagger....... And have believed all the long and strong talk ......I was one but decided to average down...... Hope that was the correct decision for me.....I work in the north sea and this share was going round the rigs like wildfire, people who never invested before heard tails of national signfiagance ......and had a punt some bigger punts than others(mortgage paid , new car , rolex etc)....this may all come true and i hope it does.....but still feel sorry for friends locked in and cant or wont average down..... Question ? Does ramping have more serious consequences than deramping ?

Wish some one would be able to put this across categorically and put it to bed......the same for all this mm dropping for mates rates and filling buy orders..... I took a 2k punt in ukog nearly a year ago.... got caught in all the hype and topped up all the way down from 6p I now have an average of 2.3p at the cost of 18k ..... My brother took a punt about the same time 5k ....6.5p. Still holding long and strong.....he believed all the ramping and pound parties....which i am not saying is impossible...... But just shows how investors can be influenced either way.... To make different types of investments while hoping for the same end result initially....... 6p would be great for me not so my long and strong brother..... Wizard....was not questioning the spotters dedication which is very much appreciated....more questioning if the tanker was full and ready to leave at nine am this morning..... Why was the news held back until after hours? Not saying it should or shouldn't have been released earlier....just wondering why wait until after trading?

If the time is accurate at 9:00 am i think the spotters would have picked up on it ? If not why would they keep it to after hours to release it ? Any thoughts?

2 strokes every 80 seconds is 1.5 / minute. That is the minimum stroke / min for the pump capable of 6 strokes / minute pumping at 475 bfpd which would only give around 119 barrels of oil per day. Not so good if that is the steady rate now. That could be great news depending on the size of choke
