The Horse Hill oil project, otherwise known as the 'Gatwick Gusher' was also in the headlines again this week, with UK Oil & Gas strengthening its position over the controversial projects, pushing its shares up 15.8 per cent to 2.3p over the week.

Been holding and topping up here for a year now,all great news lots oft positive projects on the go.....everything looks good.....but what is it going to take to get the sp to move even slightly north and stabilise?

Cashman007.....This is not a ramp I am a realist in fact i have been accused of deramping in the past....I am presently on an oil rig in the north sea.....had an interesting conversation last night with the drilling company man, got on to the subject of horse hill, which he had heard about but not in great detail....i filled him in on the story so far...and the fact that BP had drilled there in the late eighties with little success.....he went on to tell me how much today's technology has improved and in fact the last well they drilled was indeed abandoned by BP about 20 years ago and now one of the best producers for the platform.In simple terms with a deeper drill and more perforations they drilled a successful well.

Pijoe......Not shure when you were in the oil industry......or what position you held.... I am offshore in the north sea at present....although i am not directly involved with drilling I am quite often in the presence of the driller and company man and have had a few interesting conversations....only last week the company man was saying how things had advanced in the last 35 years in his time in offshore and onshore drilling.....the last 2 successful wells that were drilled out here would not have been achieved as little as 5 years ago...so hopefully the weild will benefit from the latest technology and modern drilling procedures.....ATB

I am certainly not trying to deramp..... been invested here for nearly a year now with an average off 5p....Everything sounds positive apart from the SP......
