The RNS states that what is left to do are formalities and that the company is sourcing crews etc in parrallel to be ready to go. Lets hope this means a Heron workover before end August together with a RNS outlining development plan schedule. I'd like to see that DQE contract confirmed asap with details of the scope of the deferred payments communicated to shareholders. This is a promise that needs to be fulfilled for total shareholder confidence.

V1 total depth hit around 13th July if on schedule. Analysis will also then need to be done. There's a couple of ways of looking at that I suppose. Results could come early if its really obvious we have something or late if its marginal. A duster would be quickest of all so lets not think about that!

This is interesting although the translation is once again a bit dodgy. The same activist posted Friday that "Counterfeit Fuel" was going to be discussed and now posts that it has been approved. He also posted lets see if the 'Constitutional Flower' has been paid...intimating some form of corruption if it passed this topic. We live in hope.

At least get things correct. Red Deer was not in central Mongolia and Snow Leopard is the reason why V1 is being drilled due to its oil shows. MB believes there is a good chance this oil has migrated and been trapped by the Raptor geology.

I can only see this RNS as good news. V1 is getting drilled on time which we all know could be huge.

The big news for me is that the special permit has not been delayed by the other ministry. This was my big comcern but today's news has put my mind at ease. They have completed and circulated it to people who have seen it before. How do we know this. Well simply because they were one of the ones who it was circulated to the first time. The repeat process did not take months and I believe the SP is now a done deal. There is no reason to believe the next step will take a long time so maybe before the raptor result even. Plenty of time to workover Heron and drill another couple of wells there. Who knows we could go into the winter with Five oil wells that all have oil. Three of them producing. Six if you include gazelle which is still sitting out there. GLA keep the faith.

Not a major scoop about Matd but just to let you all know that Major Drilling are holding a webinar this weds. If we have had no spud news by then there is a possibility they may mention V1 as part of their ongoing operations update.

Bowley, The reason for the meeting in IOM was explained in an RNS as discussions on PSC and fiscal terms. Some of us believe there was more to it as we are aware a new company PM Energy was formed soon after. The photographs and presence of Mongolian ministries, IOM and Mongolian dignitries and reps from Finance IOM point towards something other than you are suggesting. Would love to know the date of your correspondence if you are unable to share the content.
