Deliberately confidant... not sure the same as deliberately deceitful.
Potentially possible and future facts are all subject to revision when a moment in time meets a point of reality.
The reader... presumably knows why they post a comment, what they're think of at that time... so I'll leave it up to a poster to know his own intent.
Specinvestor99, I'm going to set the "white gold" aside which the company may havev done for storage purposes.
Regarding the gold Helpful was talking about, I think it was on the basis of four wash plants and multiple work areas - so a bigger scale but other people than me would be better at assessing the numbers and mechanics of that.
To be fair, there has been at least one occasion, probably a couple where I have read a company putting out two RNS in a morning to numerically correct themselves, even very competent people can make mistakes.
On the positive side there, is still quite a lot of time left in 2024.
Banburyboy, I don't really agree with you because having read both your's and Helpful's comments, I think his relationship to the company is as an investor and he is no way employed by them. I also remember him - on occasion, self-referentially censoring himself on this forum in order to be scrupulous, taking such things at face value and reading closely, I don't agree with you.
Even the people on here who I do share some positive sentiment, I don't agree with them on every aspect of what they say but I don't have anything like annoyance with that and it is interesting to read different perspectives on a company.
I think maybe it would be good to chill at some point and wish everyone... a nice weekend.
... scenarios... not scenariosly
If someone can read properly: I don't think Helpful is setting out to.mislead or mug anyone, in his comments his style is confidant and sometimes strongly positive but remember situations can sometimes change - perhaps regulations or price of commodity which means that a prediction or perhaps a numerically illustrative outline in a possible circumstance is not actually correct in the short term. I have taken some of those positive comments to be in terms of possible but not definite scenariosly and I think they are well enough written to be potentially well enough read.
Sometimes people have criticised Helpful for putting out links. Obviously commodities relate to macro issues as well as geological, some those links are musings by genuine experts - doesn't mean they're correct - no-one knows the future but I think they are interesting.
Aso junior mining companies often refer to other discoveries nearby, although that in no way guarantees success it shows the closeness to areas of geological interest, doesn't seem unreasonable to me for him to be posting such.
Some people who read about this company will be interested in rocks and the surrounding landcapes, within reason people can choose what they want to write and people can choose what not to read, what to skim over, leave till later or read at any particular moment.
Cheers...
Pumpky, he might be elsewhere and overall and even if not he seems pretty experienced and knowledgeable even though it's not really mine, your's or anyone else's business.
Some people are trying to concentrate on the recent and distant past but also someone tried to close News down from pointing out the company's biggest upside from 2010 which is slightly ironic...
Junior miners are usually pretty dynamic there can be new chapters at any point, if there are enough new good ones or one that is dramatically interesting from the positive side - narratives can change.
Neither bears or bulls own the story, readers and those who do their research should make their own minds up, both here and in general.
Disruptions can create opportunities, nice to be able to sometimes anticipate them, I appreciate the simplicity...
Helpful, It was originally Newcrest who bought the large stake into Greatland Gold's Havieron project. Recently, as you probably know Newmont bought Newcrest. It is Newmont deciding what they want to re-focus rather Newcrest walking away. Greatland Gold won't be surprised by this - serious commentary from the time suggested Havieron was an open question.
Originally the two majors had been one company if I am correctly remembering from what I read, so that has gone full circle - fair enough though, a bit of simplicity can be nice, small big and in between - non-exclusory characteristics for potential upsides.
I'll echo your silence Banburyboy, because if something is in a period of storage, there may be no further related news to currently discuss.
There is an older claim: "silence is golden"...
Time will tell... The power from the lithium in my phone is running very low so will take a break and focus on other stuff which I think RRR is also doing. I will store... in a safe place meantime. Cheers...
... Regarding RRR's share of the asset and the subsidiary...
Banburyboy, I emailed the company - was given a polite reply and advised to consult the RNS of January 6th 2022. Whilst the combination of information was not too complex and I do think I understand it, it is for others to do their research if they want a closer understanding.
At a basic level, I took it the regulatory terms are in that RNS and are still the actual terms, so the company website is likely to still be relevant on this matter.
... presentation. (missed from earlier reply)
Banburyboy, there is a 10% profit tax rebate on the standard 27.5% corporation tax to what you are referring, this on the company website if anyone wants to go to the relevant section and download the
It is the first day, relevant to this update so might be a some more who listen in the days, weeks ahead, I don't know how that compares to previous interviews but know that there are plenty of interviews across a few companies that I have listened to a fair bit later than the announcements and retrospectively...
Nothing's changed for me personally Banbury, I just thought it was Nice...
All this talk of having a nap... Have to admit with all due respect, I had a nap during the interview, rewound it back, had another nap... Three or four naps later, I finally listened to everything in enough detail to understand the strands of what he was saying.
Have to say it happens with other company YouTubes as well but more so with this one, probably because the boss has a relaxed style and perhaps his pitch to my ear.
I did think it was a good interview on a good day...
Content to wait for further update on it which night be more definitive or of course anyone interested in this matter could just email the company.
Regarding a small UK company with a mining interest, this might be commercial for a Government that might otherwise possibly be discounting if the country of another miner is providing security so some diversification of deals might be beneficial.
Regarding very sad mortalities due to armed conflicts and disputes, multiple primary sources if possible builds confidence in reported details. In another part of the world even a very reputable organisation has been wrong on occasion. I've usually got an open but not malleable mind while acknowledging respect needs to be maintained for serious matters.
It is also interesting that RRR have been investing in Burkina Faso since 2008 and as two licences have been on the website / detailed for some time I am assuming they are on the basis of 10% equity to BF Government plus royalty. I'm not keeping up with the minutia all the time but if there have been more since the announcement of increase they would be subject to that, that's how I read it, either percentage seems reasonable to me.
They say mining is about relationships so if Bell gets along okay with people there that is good. Agree with you that BF Government may not be that exclusory to alternative geopolitical players but don't think they will have a problem with all UK companies.
Regarding the earlier commented "quantum of risk" element: if the gold is near surface and the potential number of wash plants become actual and suitably increase, it's not that difficult to imagine a quantum of revenue.
Appreciate even a little revenue within AimDogs timeline (plus including in to the summer) would be nice, meaningful informstion as to the start of revenue would be nice. Am not expecting that yet...
Sight delays / complications (even if it's just getting the right equipment in good time and making sure enough staff are ready) as juniors try to start production are common, hopefully RRR is on the right track.
