One thing News was correct about was when he was curious about your use of "in the trade" to refer to your proffered experience as an accountant and observed you asked one of the other RRR posters on the Harbour Energy share chat, even though that poster hadn't posted on that one with regard to your self-description regarding a professinal job. North American English and British English might have subtle differences e.g. some North Americans might not refer to bricklayers as "brickies" as often as Brits.

Helpful referred to Peter and his friends - parahrasing from memory - if I am correct enough on the subtle difference, in contrast to my estimation of your subtraction.
