Hi DeM, just read your post again: be very cautious with regard to PRD, there is a high degree of 'sheep herding' going on and some inexplicable director sells within trading hours of a placing, rapidly followed by exit of said director. Overall there is a miasma of sliminess which is hard to define: I retain a mini holding in the hope that their possible discovery is not compartmentalised by faulting concurrent to the multifold risks of hydrocarbon exploration in general. Believe me, Rkh is a paradigm model of straightforwardness in comparison!

Well I'm planning to stay in my club for a few days but yes, to attend the 'sales', 'placings' type event would be tedious and predictable beyond belief.

Any useful information would be the topic of an RNS and any investment (gambling) should be on the basis of knowledge and not sheep herd behaviour.

Hello DeM, try this for a useful precis: basically it is not possible to declare reserves until a project is declared commercial (a number of criteria). The SPE is my source of primary guidance material.

Rockhopper were never able to upgrade resources to reserves, entirely due to SPE manual amendments and inspite of the very thorough appraisal campaign. I have reviewed all relevant rns's all the way back to 2009 and (with 70-80% probability of an O.M award) invested here.

Good Afternoon Charlotte, all fair points with the exception of fighting a share down for a lower entry point: there is no need! The fun and profit taking at this stage is in predicting placings, that has been going rather well but Pilbeam lobbed a jobby into the machine hours before another placing, no matter as I followed him into the gutter.

So how do you prevent 'them' high porosity/permeability levels to lead to formation collapse? How much does it cost? What equipment do you need? Why not learn English before geophysics?

You have reduced a complex science to CSE level, porosity is not difficult to understand but permeability is hugely complex, even the morphology of the substrate is highly relevant.

GRH is one of the most blatantly puerile rampers on all of these boards. We simply do not have sufficient information to make his assumptions logical. When we have four plus wells, EWT's, 3D and a new CPR we do not know what we have (or not).
