In the last 5 years, yes a better return.
Not only that, big dividends as well. Over £3 on a £5.85 share price 5 years ago.
There can't be many shares that pay such a level of dividend and grow by so much.
Who would have thought Dunelm would produce such results and still expanding judging by today's RNS
Wasn't too long ago someone posted they thought that might be the end of the 4's.
Unfortunately today the horrible 3's.
If there isn't any news for a bit, how do we see the SP behaving ? A gentle slide or hovering around the 4s until hopefully a significant climb ?
The Finnish pipeline won't be available for some time. As consumers, the winter might prove to be very expensive. For pxen, it might be reasonable to assume it would benefit them but just for now, we are waiting
"The agency’s chief, Robin Lardot, said marks had been found on the seabed at the site of the damage to the Balticconnector pipeline. Its operators said it would take at least five months to repair the pipeline, meaning it was unlikely to come on stream again until April 2024.
But Lardot said the investigation into aggravated vandalism was in its “very early technical stages” and could take several more days because of poor weather and the large search area. The bureau was working to “find facts and analyse them”, he said."
On a day where it appears a major pipeline has been sabotaged, the most obvious expectation would be a jump in the share price. Something needs to change here, circumstances should mean this is flying SP wise
"UK prices jumped as much as 13.5% on Tuesday to 124 pence per therm (a measurement of gas) - having traded as low as 88 pence on Friday."
Is there a fair chance that tech minerals will be the UK's largest supplier of lithium within the uk over the next few years ?
At least until the UK has it's own lithium mine on line. All those new battery factories going to need their supplies from somewhere. When will the UK get a volume refinery to convert the black mass ?
It's possible to generate any number in software, it doesn't have to be a physical number such as a home phone or business number.
Often the scam call won't mention your name, they don't know it, so that can often be an early indication that something is not right.
Any genuine call would know further details such as your address and the name of your bank.
The calls rely on shock and panic and unfortunately sometimes, the reduced abilities of the person they are speaking to.
Octp, to add, this is stated in supporting notes, have NO plans to increase the number of shares apart from the normal employee share options.
The post from Windsor, laughable. Utter nonsense.
This was some time ago but they were asked what they wanted to achieve by year end.

Range Anxiety may well be a thing of the past in the near future.
Who cares about the substandard charging network if you can go this far. Early adopters, like most technologies, unfortunately will suffer.

In fairness CaseFountain, yours seems to have been a pretty good call.
I might not have wanted it to be. Lots of penny shares seem to shoot up on good news and gradually trace back and hopefully the cycle starts again. Obviously very difficult to know the low point but a sale at 5.5p does give plenty of scope to buy in a bit cheaper with the gap to where the price is now.
Gas prices jump as Australian workers begin strike
Meanwhile Prospex Energy, 4 sells, 1 buy........
This share seems unloved. Perhaps a take over to put it out of its misery would be best for all concerned?
Can the opinion box include an entry for fed up ?
Reuters reported
Ashtead Group's shares (AHT.L) fell 5.2% to the bottom of FTSE 100 after the company lowered its annual UK rental revenue growth forecast, citing softening market conditions
How much business is in the UK, 5% ?
In the US where they do 90% (I think) of their business, much brighter picture. Mega projects.
So why did the price fall ? Do people just read one sentence and ignore all the rest ?
