It's tempting to think this would be a good entry point for a new investor but if we don't think there will be an update next week, think they could easily wait a bit.

7 trades last Friday.

27 today with majority recorded as sells. 800k sold in 3 trades.

Buy orders temporarily suspended on t212. Same part of yesterday. Not sure about elsewhere but might help to explain things.

It could be worse Andy, I bought shares in Prospex Energy, think I only came across it as a result of a post on here. Started at 10p, averaged down. They get their gas well up and running, connect to the Italian main supply, have contract with BP, gas starts being pumped, all good news and the price is now, 14p, 20p, a £1....no it's 5.75p.

Maybe there are plenty of shares that are not at a price that they appear to be worth. In another share may be today's RNS might have seen an increase.

The enthusiasm for the share, mine included and the SP are two different things it seems and possibly like Prospex, even good news might not change things. Perhaps the full go live will help it recover or maybe it will need an update showing earnings and profit.

I agree with coxon. It feels at the moment there is no point topping up as it will always be cheaper tomorrow.

The briefing today, doesn't make any headlines anywhere from what I can see. 29 trades, it's as though the share is invisible apart from to the sellers. The PR seems non existent.

It is a bit depressing when at best it's detective work to see if there were any buys at all this afternoon, on a day when I hoped the presentation would create some interest.

Not much on other chat boards that I could see.

All those chaser buys the other day when the share price fell were not the bargain i hoped for. Feels that wherever the share price gets down to, it will stay there as not enough buys to lift it back up against determined sellers.

Realistically, if everyone expects the gas price to be higher in winter, when that happens, it won't be a surprise ? On another board the guess (with anger and saying it was a scam) was 2.5p. omg. Long way from there to my 8.6.

Whatever, the sellers look like they will be getting less for each trade in the future.

If Odey had 1%, that would be 2.85m shares.

Mr 50k man often sells before 9am. Are they the same person only selling in round numbers such as 50k/100k later in the day?

I do feel a bit jealous of the long term investors here. I have only been here a few months and pretty much all my purchases have been averaging down. That isn't easy on t212 as never sure when the deal will go through and the spread seems big. On the positive side, today made more of a difference to the average than any other day. On the negative, bit more in the red.

I was quite pleased to see it was a single big sell rather than hopefully anything else news wise sneaking out.

Hoping tomorrow brings good things. Is it likely it might be accompanied by an RNS ?

Perhaps 1.6m sold with one of the unknown entries as well. 500k bought in one go it looks like with the other unknown.

One day last week there were just 7 trades

Was down to 6.3p on T212 just. So either the fear that there might be a placing had taken hold or perhaps something has leaked out.

Lithium ion batteries do carry a risk of fire. I can't give you any figures but recently saw a report that they are responsible for the majority of fires at recycling centres.

Fire brigade suggest no mobiles left on charge when out of the house.

The sooner these are consigned to history the better and hopefully replaced by something which can be charged many more times and much faster.

Do they need to generate income to fund it ?

That's a fair point ISAs, that would impact the lithium side if their estimate was on that basis.

Still feels on the low side even at 48% and presumably nothing at all for the boxes, lead and mining.

May be it isn't £5k a tonne and/or very time limited gate fees.

I wonder what that estimate assumed ?

That does seem a bit less than the figures below (no lead, mining etc) and hopefully more than one factory perhaps sometime in 2024

I topped up but then my one account had an average of 1.7p so no movement at all later in the day.

22,000 tonnes looks to give 13,253 tonnes of black mass at £5k a tonne. £66m revenue. No idea of costs either.

The gate receipts of £1.2k a tonne x 22,000 = £26.4m.

£92.4m total.

Plus lead and whatever else gets brought in.

Following on from yesterday and other recycling centre incidents, my gut feeling is all of us will need to get used to fires, hopefully small and of little consequence. The move to metal boxes looks as though it will minimise things. These batteries are so unstable, it makes you wonder how long they will exist in their current form. Will insurers get to a point of trying to recover losses on car fire claims from manufacturers ? There was an article yesterday about the cost of insurance on EVs.

The lead plant coming on line, 2 weeks became 2 to 4 weeks in the interview, so perhaps mid august.

In terms of income from the lithium batteries, presumably they will need a minimum amount before a sale can be achieved. As it stands, do they have any agreements in place for the offtake ? So those announcements and then the first sale still to come.
