To date, with so many people on fixed rates, who has benefitted/least impacted ?
The 1m people whose deals have come up since rates really started to climb, many of those will be to rates much lower than now.
The winners, Savers without a mortgage, may be 60+, who are they most likely to vote for ? I doubt anyone will state it for fear it might look so stupid but as of now, have we put more money into savers pockets (inflationary) than we have taken out of mortgagees pockets ? By the end of 2024 4m deals will have come up and it's likely those unlucky 2024 people might bear the brunt of this.
Where will this impact the most, on working people who are most likely due to age to have mortgages.
Yet it is only of late that workers have managed to get pay rises (below inflation and how dare they) to help meet ever increasing demands.
In the meantime, companies who have put up prices to maintain profit levels (no, we are not all in this together) are adding to inflation without any comeback.
How did it come to this........
Nothing I suspect anyone didn't know already

This must be one of those shares that few people have and many have not heard of. Two of the buy entries today were mine so just one other person in the country bought a share.
For all the talk that the share will shoot up in value, on first gas, beginning to wonder if it will just pass by as a non event.
Does it cost a company to produce an RNS?
If TM1 was a project (a series of projects in reality) presumably in house they must be doing weekly updates to the board on how things are going, anticipated dates etc
Why can't they put those summary (non technical) bullet points into an RNS to keep all the investors informed?
They can't really bail them out. The whole idea of this is to take money out of the economy, for people to be fearful for their jobs and accept lower pay rises. People will lose their houses just by pure bad luck when their deal comes up for renewal.
It's almost cruel. It makes the decision not to subsidise UK food growers heating costs look so foolish. How much inflation could have been taken out if they had ?
The winners at the mo, well no one with that level of inflation, least impacted, age 60+ with no mortgages and with savings, more likely to vote Tory ? ..... if anything with so many fixed mortgage rates, this approach hasn't worked till now. When it does, it will hurt big time
If you want to keep down the miles that batteries would be collected for/transported into Recyclus, I would have thought you are better in higher population areas and then transport the black mass. Bristol, Swindon or Plymouth may be. Being next door, overall not sure of the benefit
Is this a slightly weird situation in that higher interest rates are good for LGen but if you can get 5% risk free on savings accounts/bonds, why would you buy ? And with interest rates going to rise, presumably this will get worse for the SP/despite being better for LGen.
I don't get the aggressive replies on here. It's not as though there is anything new on kod right now.
Calling someone boy. What's that all about.
I am invested here and found the replies useful to look at. Surely that was the point of the original post.
No 50k, 100k or 150k sells today. Not many buys either.
I have been trying to reduce my average but reached the point where I got bored trying, it doesn't seem easy on T212.
Given so few trades, I would be surprised if it's that soon. Would expect a few big buys if it was imminent.
To be honest, I just don't get it at all. Putting in 50 or 100 thousand each and every day, may be a bit more seems very odd way to go about it, especially now. When nothing is happening, these amounts seem fair enough, maintain the SP but for a share that would rise but for your actions, I don't understand it.
It must be in their interest to get as much as possible for each share and if they just left it a couple of days, let the SP get above ten and get a penny or more on each transaction for the considerable number of shares they own. 50000 X 10p = £5000, 50000 X 8p = £4000. That's going to be a sizable difference over a number of days.
By selling in the way they have done results in a prolonged suppression of the share price to their financial detriment. Unless of course ........
