I agree 100%. I've watched live trades go through when a reported Buy trade for 25,000 shares, then there may be 20 reported as sell trades for small amounts, say 100 shares each, all usually at the same time. Total Sell volume 2,000 v's 25,000 Buy volume and the share price will be moved down 1.5p. It's corruption and they are getting away with it. I'm beginning to think I would have a better chance at a casino.

It's killing company Market Cap, and turning investors away from investing.

Flatliners, nothing would surprise me. Is there any wonder investors are turning away from investing in the London Stock Exchange.

If these figures are correct taken from ADVFN @16:30pm I'm not sure how the market can justify a rise of only 0.18p 0.43% in the share price. The share price was even down @16:27pm after being up 3.17% @13:30pm.

Auson, yes mate.

Shorts holding until Monday's trading update may well be taking some risk in my opinion on a bombed out share price. Any good news could see a spike in the share price with shorters getting burnt. I live in hope.

Just looked and someone is picking S4 up, counted 11 buy trades for 25,000. And one trade for 50,000

If memory serves me correctly S4 has 8,500 employee's, So is the above news, or a misprint?

Pearls, I don't think that the Q4 trading update will be on the 17th, no RNS announcement of when the update will be released yet. I think that it will be next week before we get the update.

“S4 Capital should be able to return c. £35m to shareholders in FY24E, or 10% of market capitalisation. This would be a positive, unless our forecasts are still too high”

I am really really cautious but there’s good upside if management can get their act together and return to growth. Just be prepared for another big gap down if they spectacularly disappoint again

Averaged down into #SFOR at 54p. Just over 1/3 of sale value that was taken above 100p. I won’t be going any higher on current knowns.

If current consensus of a c.20% fcfy was proven correct then this sp flourishes but we wait to see if the major downgrade cycle is complete. The optimum trade (if any) would be to wait until news-flow but I haven’t done so.

Execution has been dismal over the last couple of years.

Pearls, I keep thinking the same as you, but it still continues to fall.

If S4 Capital can achieve analysts forecasts for this year 2024 and next year then the share price should recover to 200p plus, but its a big if.

Last years Q4 trading update was on 18/1/2023.

"Another way to look at it is WPP down 20% YoY. SFOR down 77%. So market effect 20% ish. S4 effect 55% ish."

The thing is WPP share price does move up on good days in the market, while S4 just moves down and is always one of the largest percentage fallers on down days in the market. I think that this fall is way over done, but I thought that at 100p, so I give up. I don't see anything changing until management restore some confidence with results.

I bet that the director who sold almost 2 million shares at around 160p is pleased. I only wish that I had followed him, but it is what it is, I will hold and hope that management are up to turning this around, or maybe a takeover bid. M/Cap now less than what S4 paid for Media Monks.

We have had 3 profit warnings. Let's hope that S4 are done with them. The share price cannot take another one. Predator's may well be watching.

I guess Aegon haven't been privy to the inside information? With them happy picking up almost 11 million shares this week.

Aegon Ltd are the largest purchasers this month, Q1 adding 10,903,065 shares.

Capital Group did in fact reduce their S4 Capital holdings by 881,851. I will now book in for an eye test.

Interesting to see according to the up to date Bloomberg register that Capital Group haven't decreased their shareholding in S4 as the RNS announcement indicated in December.
