3cardbrag, while I sympathize with what you say, I think it's too late to go back and start again. Plus, would the NHS be able to cope? I very much doubt it, putting their lives on the line again. I also feel that the young are largely are to blame for the upturn in infections, with their endless parties and heavy drinking and louting about after pubs close. Not all youngsters are to blame, for these people I feel sorry for. There was a young lad at university who was having to isolate because the whole building was in lockdown, he was interviewed on TV news, he pointed out that it was down to the other students partying, he pointed out that he was there to study and not party, yet he was having to lockdown because of the students flouting lockdown rules. Now is not the time to throw the towel in, we may only be a couple of months away from having a vaccine for this dreadful virus. I only make essential journeys. The sensible will survive, the foolish won't.
