I agree that £3 at the moment is a fair price. I also think that purchasing BT at £3 now would turn out to be a bargain once FTTP is built. Jansen and the BOD will obviously know better than us, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jansen advised that £3 is undervaluing BT.

Fleccy, in my opinion the volumes of both bought & sold are distorted based on the UT trades. I'm sure that you will know that the UT is a combination of both bought and sold volume, so if the UT is accounted in either bought or sold volumes, this results in an inaccurate total.

Well the article says it all really, probably what we're all thinking. I remember reading an article at the time that the news broke when Drahi purchased his BT shareholding, the article stated that almost every company that he's invested in he ends up taking full control of.

Fleccy, I would have thought that a large player like an Amazon or Disney would want the whole lot, not a stake. JMO.

Fleccy, do you expect that BT will sell only a stake in BT Sport or sell the whole lot? If they were to sell all of it what valuation would you put on it?

One thing that happened Tom is France got knocked out of the Euro's, and England are in the final.

It was reported yesterday that ITV were receiving up to £750,000 for a 30 second advert in the half time break for England V Denmark game. The program was on from 18.30pm until 23.15pm due to the extra time. I counted the number of adverts in an add break before the football match kicked off, there were 9 adverts 1 for 10 seconds and all the rest were for either 20 or 30 seconds. I thought ITV would buck the trend today and go up considering the millions of pounds ITV will have booked from just last nights game alone.

I think that the market is nerves around opening up after ending the restrictions on 19th July. It doesn't give confidence when our scientists are warning that we could be having 100,000 new covid infections daily. This in my opinion is making markets very nerves.

At the time of Drahi's announcement of acquiring his 12.1% of BT I read that (almost) every company that invests in he always takes control of. Will BT be any different?

Who would have thought when the share price was at 206p that we would be back below 190p only two weeks later. I thought that BT had turned a corner. Frustrating to say the least.
