The fox (Drahi) is already in the hen house. So Drahi can see the value in BT, shame for so long now that the analyst failed. Further down the line we may have a bidding war on our hands if both Altice & Deutsche Telekom intensions are full control. One way or another this can only lead to a higher share price for long suffering shareholders, there may finally be a light at the end of the tunnel.

What on earth is LSE thinking, if they are blocking links to media articles? This needs to be allowed so that we can share news articles in which forms a discussion. The mind boggles sometimes, it really does.

There were more ITV ADR's traded yesterday than ITV UK shares. LSE 5.7M, ADR's 8M.
ADR's closed up $0.41 2.22% @ $18.90 UK equivalent 134p. ITV UK closed on Friday @130p.
ADR's trading at a premium to UK price.

This caught my attention. This guy Drahi sounds ruthless, watch this space. We could have a potential bun fight with Drahi & DT for full control.

LOL, who would have thought that after our conversation above when the share price was 177p that only 4 days later BT share price is almost at 200p? Would I be greedy in thinking 300p by end of the summer? Probably, but you never know, never say never, I live in hope. Its been a great week so far.

Agreed mate, ever discussion board has a know it all, who claims to know more than you, to make himself look good, when a share price is going lower, funny how they do a disappearing act when the share price starts it's recovery. Peachy, I'm not sure that you will see 230p again to be honest, unless we get a bidding war like with what happened with SKY, unlikely IMO. Just keep banking the dividends to bring down your average price. Good luck.

My break-even is 160p mate. I'm going to hold on for the takeover. Not that ITV need a takeover to recover. I think that over the next 18 months we should see a recovery in the share price of 170p - 180p.

You just never know a bid could come any day. If we can recover to 150p, any bid would be 200p plus. You may recall in May 2020 analysts said that at less than 192p a share, there would be asset strippers or a management buyout, in other words a bidding war.

Market waiting for..... Wed 28 Jul 2021 ITV Plc 2021 Interim Results.

The BOD should be looking to reinstate the dividend in the interim results, this would help the share price recover.

ITV ADR's also dropped back 7.19% yesterday.

Yes indeed Fleccy, BlackRock purchase of their 456 million trade. Like you and others have pointed out already this 12.1% holding must have been hoovered up by brokers on their behalf for quite a while unless we have an RNS over the next few days from a large seller of this stake ie DT?

I think so Jock, French billionaire Patrick Drahi set up Altice UK to hold the BT holding. Acquired the shares over the past two days.

That was my first thought when I read this RNS this morning. It also make one think that BlackRock also heard about this and purchase 4.6% of BT.
