Thanks Smalltrader, I think that you made the right decision in holding on. Although, I'm not sure that we will see £2 anytime soon. I think that next weeks results should be good, of cause they should be against last years H1 results. GL.

The streaming group remains highly rated by the market despite slowing growth

Netflix thrived on a need for lockdown escapism but it now has to face up to the reality of a fiercer and more costly battle for eyeballs. The slowdown in subscriber growth was inevitable, not just because more of us are getting off the sofa, it’s also the natural consequence of a more crowded market where participants are spending big to win market share.

By adding 1.5 million net new subscribers during the second quarter, the streaming behemoth may have beaten its own forecast but it was one of its weakest performances in recent history. Guidance of 3.5 million audience growth for the third quarter was also about two million behind Wall Street analysts’ forecasts.

ITV was the leading faller yesterday out of the whole FTSE100. There will be some FTSE100 companies that make a loss this financial year with their debt rising. NOT ITV who will make a good profit and also bring down its debt. ITV are always unfairly punished by the market on days that sell off. It stinks to be fair.

Yes today's rant by TomLondon may well be a capitulation of his frustrations because I won't engage with his games. I also hope that Tom gets the professional help that he clearly needs. People like him feed off peoples fear. These posters are wasting their time if they think that they can scare me into selling my ITV shareholding. I don't mind sharing my position in ITV that I purchased 4 years ago at 177p. Including dividends already banked, this brings my average price down to 160p. I have little doubt that ITV will see this share price again in the future. I'm comfortable sat on my holding even sat on a paper loss as I will never need the cash invested.

16X EBITDA, just ITV Studios should be worth £2.4bn alone. For the whole ITV group adjusted EBITDA was £573m, which on 16X EBITDA would give it an implied valuation of £9.17bn, yet the current value of ITV is £5.3bn."

Based on the above valuation the whole of ITV would be valued at 227.82p per share.
