ITV will probably announce record profits this financial year, so doing a fine job. Can she do better, yes I think she can. Only time will tell. Once ITV announce the return of the dividend with the FY results I'm expecting a rerating of the share price.

Interesting to see Simply Wal St ITV valuation keeps increasing? 12 months ago their ITV fair value stood at 144p, today it's 259p. While I think that their valuation is a little on the high side, I do think that ITV are worth 160p - 170p all day long.

To be fair Tom - Nige doesn’t only post positive stuff he often just posts ITV related articles or opinions and to be honest….. if your invested in a company you’re going to want to share a positive a news story with other ITV investors. As soon as anyone posts anything ITV related here you flame them for it and find any negative spin you can. Do you flame the posters on the MKS board for the same reasons? because I’m sure I could find plenty of people in there that won’t have a bad word said about MKS
If you’re going to have opposing views just chill out and present them reasonably rather than spewing vitriol at everyone. It just comes across like you’re bitter and a bit nuts, I don’t get why you’re so obsessed with being so negative here….surely a better use of your time would be to research and find your next investment?

So true Sharkz, the problem with Tom is he genuinely thinks if I post a positive ITV news article that I'm going to influence the share price. I've told him on many occasions that any comment positive or negative will not move the share price of a FTSE100 company. The only reason I post ITV related articles is to share with other ITV shareholders that I think may be interested in reading.

I'm afraid Davielad is right, Tom is obsessed with ITV, mainly down to Carolyn McCall who he blames for his own past investment decisions IMO.

And following your advise it may well have resulted in losing the shirt off my back Tom. You worry about your own investments and let me worry about my own. You really should stop giving out advise Tom judging by your resent tip M&S who are down another 3% today.

I've never shorted a share in my life, but had I shorted Toms tips NXT & MKS I would have been quids in. I'm just glad that I didn't listen to you Tom, I would have sold my ITV shares. The lesson in all this for other board member is, "do your own research" don't listen to other board so called experts.

Tom, you should have taken AngerSharkz in this case very valuable advise and avoided retail shares. I hope you learn from your expensive mistakes. You should reframe from giving this board anymore of your valuable tips. In fact you would be better off listening to Sharkz for tips in future.

Tom you can check my history on this site and also ADVFN and I was also on iii discussion boards, all with the same name NigoCo. I'm not usually one to blow my own trumpet, but I will on this occasion. Before I purchased ITV I was invested in Vodafone for 5 years, I made a 6 figure profit in that time frame including dividends that were re invested back in VOD. I watched the ITV share price fall from 240p to 177p before I purchased. Including ITV dividends already banked, ITV ows me 160p per share, with each dividend I bank, this will bring my breakeven price down further. I'm a value investor, I've been successful at investing for over 36 years and I've done very well. But I only have 30% of my wealth invested in shares. The rest is invested in property. So I sleep well at night. I invest in shares for a bit of interest. So while ITV have not been my best investment to date, I see great value in ITV and believe that I won't make a loss in them long-term. I consider myself as an investor not a trader/gambler. Each to their own, it works for me.

Please all contribute. I think there is money to be made in January. Increased food sales and spending on certain items with covid. The potential to use your ITV capital productively and then buy back with maybe 10% - 20% more shares in February.

While M&S reported decent enough results it was already in the price, needless to say the smart money now departs. Tom couldn't tip a wheelbarrow, anyone following him will lose the shirt off their back, you have been warned.

ADR's currently up 6.8% on volume of 80,221. Daily average volume is 148,483. Currently back up to 3 month highs @$16.80 6.8%.

The ADR's spread is $16.12 - $16.80. That's one hell of a spread, someone wants them?

A very quick look at Carolyn McCall's EasyJet history. On 24th March 2010 when she started at EJ the share price was at 489p. When she left on 17th July 2017 the share price was 1431p after hitting a high of 1920p. Not a bad return from our Dame.
