Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
There is no RNS tomorrow.
Earliest will be 16th.
That's my prediction!
Yes they can let the market know on the 30th. Also as they are interim results, they would not be breaching AIM rules.
I too don't believe there will be a RNS.
The last thing BooHoo want is more bad publicity... "Boohoo expects outstanding results thanks to slave trade labour" etc.
They need their investigation concluded, followed by some healthy results.
such a non story, it has dropped out of the Guardians most read and no longer in their major headlines area. No sunday paper has picked it up
Daily Mail have rephrased it, that’s about all.
don’t forget this share is still being shorted so there will be the influence to try and create negative sentiment.
hang tight.... boohoo said they will deal with it, which i believe they will. results should be strong. there is a lot of upside.
Chris England and other LTH, for such an advocate of boohoo i am surprised you got so easily scared. maybe a bit of regret now?
Mickey - it's not relevant. It was a buy and sell.
It isn't profit takers - demand on the stock isn't there to drive the price at the moment. My guess is that it will be like this for at least another week, before institutions start moving money back into BOO in anticipation of results.
7th consecutive day actually
The dramatic move in share price suggests institutions are buying back in.
Institutions usually do this in prep for good news (i.e. trading update in september). They will know more than private individuals and usually have some info!
Hold tight!
We're just touching the rim of glory here.
It's struggling to move past 0.95. Two attempts at 1p and both failed.
If only we could get a bit of news...!
haha that's what would happen to me!
Chris - agree on the long term potential. I have 24k shares, averaging 2.62 cost. I could have sold at £2.70, made a profit and lowered my average cost!
Wuda, shuda, cuda!
I feel a bit annoyed that i didnt trade the shares when they hit £2.70 and rebought at 2.55/2.6! If they hit 2.70...does one trade them?! surely they will bounce around like this until September statement/figures...?
In general... if something is about to drop, the share price goes up... not down! This share price has gone down and the MMs might be shaking a little, but volume and demand shows that for now, interest in this security is lost.
Price monitoring extensions aren't suspicious and rather normal. It doesn't necessarily mean any news at all and can in fact bring the price down (as it has done in this case).
Buys and sells on LSE are not accurate, so wouldnt necessarily follow that. Buys and sells have to match (nature of trade).
Other than S Parker retweeting, there's nothing exciting here to see.
Obviously a good RNS, but when do we realistically expect more?
Never (well maybe not never, but certainly not at this price. £4.50 maybe)
Totally ridic.
"Leicester police clear Boohoo". It's laughable.
I am heavily invested in Boohoo and totally believe in the business fundamentals. It's a good business.
However, lets be realistic, until September, it is likely we could be hovering around this price point. That's ok with me, as i am confident about long term prospects. Yes there should be no reason why it can't get back to 350 (as it was a few weeks ago), but confidence is a major factor in any share price and sometimes, SP don't always go by fundamentals. So until investor confidence is back (and it will be, unless more news breaks) - can we stop unnecessary ramping!
Same goes for de-ramping... it's just silly and blindly obvious. The business numbers will speak for itself and bring back that confidence.
Guys - this is totally misleading. There is no clear mention of Boohoo and LBC are simply just referring to Leicester factories having no prosecutions (though they still found some breaches).
It does not mention Boohoo at all in the news and anyway is not shifting the share price regardless.
Yup... bought 1m shares because I wanted to get in on the hype. Hoping for some excitement!
Can anyone explain why there has been consistently more buys than sells over the last few days, yet the share price is not increasing? (excluding the big buy yday which drove the price up).
