What large buys? There are no large buys.
I am sorry, but i strongly disagree with Bridges, Mafuta etc. MMs create a market- they sell at a price that can drawn in sellers and buyers. They may swing prices/tree shakes during the day, but in general it is not in their benefit to hold the price low for weeks on end. Especially when volume is so low.
The large spreads occur on all low volume stocks - that's how MMs can create interest and minimise their risk. That is why we see swings on single trades.
There is no accumulation of shares here. Low volume is because this is AIM and right now SAR don't have anything pre-christmas to create attention, so interest is low. Covid grant was built in.
IMHO i don't think there is a takeover occurring either (sorry Thoth). Tim said himself that the larger pharmas want SAR to be further down the line, P1 done with etc. I think that's when the real value will occur. If a take over is occurring in the background, you can be sure that there would be the sudden appearance of II Funds. There are always people in the know.
I agree with the 6 month timeline that has been put out there. For this side of the year, i would hope that we get payment from SRA737, but who knows... behind the scenes it could have been decided they will start progress on this next year.
I am also weary of the Chinese and their willingness to pay up. The market certainly doesn't seem to think so, otherwise we wouldn't be at this price. Funding for trials could also be a concern...
I believe SAR will realise value, but my concern has always been that we have scientists running the business end and this could mean we get shafted (Chinese, Sierra etc etc). I hope not and hope they are experienced enough to know better now.
The products are good - give it a few more months and i hope we are in a completely different position to where we are now.
