I believe as you do that we will get a positive outcome which is why I am holding all my shares. I am curious as to what will be done to appease those against the mine and the impact this may have on the price if the decision isn't very concise and clear. I do wonder too how any protracted series of demonstrations might keep some big buyers away from the project until that is either solved or BEM begin to dig holes.
With around 250k shares (which is not a great deal but is significant to an un-wealthy me) I should really take my investment out and let the rest ride. The lack of liquidity if I wanted to buy back in and the belief that we will get the right outcome is what is preventing me. Greed? Educated decision making? Hope? Stupidity? All of these? We will find out.
Good luck all.
A huge key point. Getting out of this before major lows will be very difficult on a bad decision.
12.45 grammes per tonne ('g/t') gold ('Au'), including 2.00m grading 26.61 g/t Au.
This is some good stuff...
Let's hope we return to levels of last year....
Happy New year all. I hope you and your loved ones have a healthy and happy year. Looking forward to more chatting/guessing in 2022.
Festive cheer and good wishes to all. Whatever the outcome I hope you are all well and have a good 2022.
Raising a glass to treetop as we speak.
Been away from this all day, expected to come back and see astronomical rise or astronomical drop... Instead I get a big load of "Meh...huh?" -- Any actual clues anyone or are we all just guessin'?
Risk spreading? I don't know...
OOh... I hadn't really considered that option seriously... Interesting.
I did smash a packet of Tangfastics before my last post. Family size ;)
--It is nice however to be talking in positive terms for a change - I still don't think there will be a decision in 2021.
Maybe because Kallak South has been proven (mitigating risk)? So let BEM invest in proving the resource before buyout?
Just a guess at a reason... not an opinion.
This is my question? Will someone wait until Kallak South has been proven (mitigating risk)? Or will they try to reduce the buyout costs by saying Kallak south is unproven?
In 10 years I have been awaiting 'The Decision'. Snippets leaked from reports, C5 documentaries, ever growing JORCs, stagnation and avoidance from a weak minister propped up by the Greens. SAMI either wanting no mining, or gazillions of compensation... llbj and Suzy having Spats (thanks both, it's been quite fun) everyone chipping in with opinion (and little fact) changing of the guard at the top (where is Mr Sinclair C5?).
But now.... I actually think we're near.
OK - There may well be a positive noise tomorrow (but no decision) There may well be some descent comments from the SAMI (which is their right). The price will jump up and down... until 'The Decision'...
THEN WHAT? Sell for a tidy profit? Or wait a few more years until 'The Buyout'? --- What shall I do??
OMG - I haven't had this much fun since the Christmas in 1979 when I got my Scalextric set!
Yes.. but not usually this big.
Yes - but people cashing in will keep it lower. And we're also a little off the pace in Sweden.. Much more trading going on over there.
lbjj?? I can't hear you? Thanks anyway....
Whilst I cannot fail to agree with your opinion.
As a very long term (and rather unhappy shareholder) who does believe that the licence will eventually get accepted, I do wonder why you waste so much time on a share you don't own just trying to bait people into pointless unconstructive arguments?
Why is this not showing as an RNS? https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/ORR/thani-stratex-djibouti-exploration-update/15158900
BOOM!!! "At the Hesdaba project, located immediately to the west of Assaleyta, selective sampling of hole Hd-D-17 have returned 19.80m grading 1.18 g/t Au from 79.30m and 10.75m grading 26.27 g/t Au from 108.25m including a bonanza intersection of 1.22m grading 211.00 g/t Au. Results for a further three boreholes, drilled along an 800m strike-length of this system, are still pending. It is anticipated that all outstanding assay results will be received during October, satisfying the Tranche 2 milestones."
Hhhmmmm indeed
Absolutely.. do you remember the 2015's when we were glued to the 1 penny range... I filled up somewhat then. But it took years to bounce back. Sometime in 2025 we might see this back. I'll just hold on until I either lose it all or one day have the lovely news that the government are not led by cretins. Maybe my children will benefit after I'm gone (I'm in my 40s)
