Re how well the GGS has or hasn't worked so far?

Do COPL not have mandatory reporting requirements for their August production numbers, that will be filed in coming days.. and people here kindly access and copy the data here, once again ?

PS; Versus go live in late July, August is very early still and fine tuning on exact mix and rate of injectables needs time to optimize? (So if average/poor production no's in August, the read across to potential September no's is not particularly meaningful)

I believe that you and Tiburn and both fine posters here Stas..... but effectively always from a glass half full perspective.. which may indeed be right in the end, and hopefully for the long suffering here it is.

Also there are plenty with perspectives that are outside the glass half full one.. - the s/p chart here speaks clearly to that - and I'm sitting somewhere in the middle of those two perspectives... and post accordingly.

Generally, a good BB is a broad church of perspectives imho

The JV feels a decent bit more than before the 'key' here now, to me..... and we're absolutely still in play in this... and Art is still plenty in the driving seat for it.. so he's far from out of the picture in term of the strategic success of COPL

But, as COPL feels like 'family' to him... I'll go with the analogy of it being like one of his two children have been taken away from him and put into care because of bad parenting.. and that doesn't happen without there being very serious issues around his parenting of COPL..... the latest if those seemingly around the basics of producing enough oil to get beyond the 'going concern' situation asap.

In terms of this issue specifically; short term production growth is very important and GGS is the game changer here .. and what would/could/should have saved Arts bacon.. while I still think it might easily be that game changer soon enough, it seems likely it's go live has been more complicated than hoped for.. and hence the very significant restructurings announced today...and why the market is nervous this morning.

Generally, having given myself some thinking time in the last hour odd, I still don't have a clear view on whether the market will see this RNS as glass half full or one third empty, thru September - there are plenty of positives and some negatives in todays RNS - so all I've got to offer is a guess that this will trade in the 3p to 5p range thru September

What does this mean for August production?

While I don't agree with stews 2.5p, I see these significant personnel and financial restructurings as out of necessity because of continuing underperformance by the company... and I did sell a smailish part of my holding this morning

On and off I've been here for years Ria.. my current play here has been live for many months, including some further accumulation in recent months.. I've just topped up this morning

I added a bit this morning to do my bit for this rally..

The fall here has been significantly overdone off the back of Amati sell down imho.. and the Market cap is ridiculously small now.. So for this to head back towards 50p seems unstretching imho

(Granted, if the likes of Davey want to try and smash the rally from anger carried over from another board(s) then that's a negative against a good rally here I accept)

I saw Facebook Advert selling local oil drilling permits for Heron area. But thanks to Mr Condors post here I then guess this is hoax and not buy!

And with the money I not spend on this I instead buy tablets advertised on Facebook to make my P+nis twice the size in a week. Tablets arriving mid next week .... so in ten days time I 'be happy' like Mr WOS tells everybody here they should be !!

Almost every poster on every board here is plenty about positional posting leew.. be that shorters of short term buy traders who often want to buy back lower after selling... or medium or long term buy and hold players ...etc.. ?

And if one of the afore flavours of posting is not a worthwhile activity why are whatever other flavours worthwhile activity?

I'll second that Prickly re flipper hitting nail on head with that 10.26 am post..

( Generally, only top tier & mid tier producers have deep enough pockets to progress 'successful' exploration opportunities into size production .. and there are very few of them versus the large number of 'successfully' explored targets on offer... and so its such a buyers market that even the lucky few that get top or mid tier buy in still get average to poor terms with this= BIG OUCH for most commodities explorers in never getting a size producer biting.. and small ouch even for the small per cent that do )

MM's want to encourage trading as they make a turn on the spread from each trade. No doubt they can be somewhat creative to that end. BUT the underlying issue of more selling than buying has seen the price go down around now - and the opposite saw it go up recently etc - is many many times more s/p driving than any MM 'shenanigans' full stop

And nice that you're getting more towards posting along those lines in below post instead of the usual MM's shenanigans are a big factor in s/p movements here HarryWh..

Generally, this remains a hard core gambling stock.... And the CEO here is the hardest of hard core gamblers imho.

I hope for the long suffering here that it goes well from here and while I've sold down plenty in profit here, I've also kept a small to mid sized bet in play as I believe it has a decent chance of doing so.

Luck is massive in games such as this. So good luck to all fellow holders !

(PS: this can readily still crash again from here, alas.. and the extent of my cautiousness here still is witnessed by it being the houses money I'm now playing with in that live bet.. ie I've banked profits here approx equiv to the bet I've left in play)

More patience required here, alas.. maybe lots more even..

3p close now..... in low volume small selling might get this readily there .. I stop buying shoe(s) and instead buy some matd.l at 3p, Sir ! .. and I buy more again thereafter too, Sir !!

The recent good posting here is very much appreciated.. As is this rally.. And here's to a nice and steady rally thru the 3's p please.. (spike and partial retrace rallies can be complicated..so steady and ongoing well into Sept would be nice here please)

Sadly AIM is indeed a barbaric game to play.. especially in last 2 years eg AIM ALL share index down Approx 45 % since Sept 2021.. pretty big ouch for me... and probably 90% of other players too, I'd guess..

Still, there's always hope for the future.. not least here.. and I'll likely be adding some back in due course here..

Also, the entertainment from the core posters 'panto' here - not least Mr WOS.... no more Mt IamRich Smallwood sadly - is much appreciated for bringing a smile in tough markets for me.

PS: Maybe Mt WOS shoe and trouser shopping again today and so no posting.. maybe even Mrs WOS expensive tastes in shoes - and him in trousers/feathers too - means he has being doing some -'sneaky sneaky' - sells of some shares in Matd to pay for all the shopping ? :-)

While I understand that this doggy can still go plenty lower from 1.80 p.. I'm far from giving up on this... and anyone who ends up with an average in the 2'sp - or 1's p even - have a half decent chance of a bag or three's profit at some stage in the future here imho....

That said, this is clearly a high risk bet now.. that could also kinda easily end up under 1p, I get..

But that's just the way of things in such high risk betting ..
