It could be related to many/combination of things.. so I'll not bother offering a guess...

It defo. doesn't put me off being open to adding to my position here though...

To that end, I note the block seller seems to be dumping some more this morning .. I was hoping for a few more large volume days early this week to allow that seller clear out.. but looks like today may not be any such large volume day though.. so here's hoping somewhere thru the rest of this week throws up a couple of even vaguely close to Friday type volume days ..

(I'd defo. add punchily here at sub 2p.... half a chance that's incoming this week, I'd guess.. but nothing is close to certain in this game.. and fine by me if such doesn't happen ...and the long suffering see a nice bounce instead here this week)

What's more likely next stop here from current 3.45 p ish price?

I cant bring myself to call it either way, hence, around this time, I feel it's unlikely I'll add or deduct from my current small in play bet here.

Generally, I'll now offer that more positive news may well be needed soon.. for starters, to kill off the possibility of s/p drift back down if vacuum of plenty of weeks here to next RNS)

The total value of all trades - buys and sells - in all Feb 24 for xtr.l was under 300k gbp btw (was just looking on London Stock exchange site for this for another share and took a look for xtr too) = sad

But at least Jan and Feb 24 total values are better than the back end of 2023 ones.. towards finishing on a positive ! :-)

PS the monthly traded volume for all of Feb 24 for arcm.l - according to London stock exchange website - was approx 100m

Today alone - 1st day of march - was approx 23m volume

So the big seller unwound a bunch today, seemingly

(And I'm going to wild guess - including other selling volume in the market that's not that big seller - they'd now have no more than 15m shares left to sell out of 60m .. and maybe even plenty less than 15m too... so hopefully finished sometime next week even... if it's Lararnas selling out ..etc..)

Assuming it is them and only them that are meaningfully block selling here recently

(PI's with punchy holdings might panic sell some when gotten wind of Lararnas selling too .. etc.. the biggest shareholder here seems to be private Investor ? Karl-Erik von Bahr btw... and he holds 7%.. hopefully he's not selling any around now too .. etc..)

arcm.l website major shareholders list has Lararnas Riksforbund as the second largest shareholder here: they held 5% at end Jan 24

so v approx 60 m shares to sell to get them totally out..

and because of their non UK entity status they only have to notify when finished selling down to 0, I think? ..

Selling 60 m shares in a stock such as arcm.l thru Feb and into March could of course drag meaningfully on this s/p ..

Aside: As noted by Poster Select 126 earlier today alone was a huge volume day - a 23m volume trading day across buys and sells - so my guess is their broker is now caning it to finish the sell out process ... and are near or very near the end of that selling out process now..

I'll be keenly watching out for a TR 1 dropping here sometime during next week ...or so ... after the completion of the sell out .. If it is them selling out..

With such low transacted volumes the few grand bet traders that are happy to take 10% or 20% will still have big sway here.. if/when buying volume transacted increases meaningfully here, while there will always be selling in play at whatever s/p, the smaller bet short term trader types will have less and less overall s/p impact .....

Ac123.. luck especially around timing is very important in this game.. (all AIM such stocks are high risk betting including much s/p volatility.. with far more losing money more than making it generally, sadly)

It's not very clear to me yet if I've timed this well.. but my average is 2.75 p ish currently on a smallish bet that I'm still looking to grow out /average down on .... and I understand that many long term holders here will have averages much higher than mine - and some new entrants here now lower too, granted - so my exit price target range - which I don't have a good view on yet - will likely be lower than most longtermers.. and that gives me a better chance of winning in some shape or form here, I feel... and that adds meaningfully to my confidence in BETTING here around now, granted..

My read on this is that Heron drilling can go ahead without that provincial governor sign off of the state special purpose land designation agreement ..

I also expect he'll be pushed into signing off soon too .. and in the interim he'll not try and block Operational progress at Heron.. which Matd.l will be bashing on with from soon forward on, whatever

ps : If this s/p can get to/stay 4p area off the back of todays RNS .. then that's a strong base for a good further rally on Provincial Governor state special purpose land sign off too ( versus an all in one go rally from 2.9 p ish today )

I'd guess they'll have the band width to hold off raising until second half of this year.. when the Swedes will be long gone.. and this has rallied off the back of that ...and especially off the back drill plans and actual drilling in progress too.. maybe some early drill results too.. etc..

Why would you raise at 2p ish in March when you could raise perhaps at 4p ish in September for eg.. or 3p ish in July even ...etc.. even if they ran on fumes for a bit thru summer etc.. they've done that running fumes pretty recently already while waiting the JV to get over the line....so doable, if required.. etc )

For me the Anglo JV and the huge perspectivity of the JV'd Zambia acreage is VERY compelling here

I'd guessed this could go as low as 2p - or a little under even - from this - Swedish teachers pension fund ? - sell off and so I've kept a reasonable amount of dry powder to average down around 2p.. and did first of approx. three planned top up sub 2.10p this morning.... (I'm even open to - in total- doubling my bet here if this goes as low as 1.75p.. my guess is it won't go that low though)

I get that this big fall is very painful for most holders, but believe their patience will be well rewarded in 24 and 25 ....

I'm buying and holding for many months - years even - here.. and see this as potentially one of the best - of many -bets I'll have made thru 2023/2024

PS; some of the bears here might get tempted to buy as this sell off finishes is a guess/hope of mine too.. which could underpin some sort of a short term rally in early / mid March even

Decent volume needs to come back here to facilitate a sustained meaningful rally imho..eg back towards 1.75p ... and news still the most likely the driver for that for xtr.l, I'd expect

That said, there's little stock available to buy at under 1.5 p, I'd suspect - as this s/p is, in the round, too low now at under 1.5p - and so somebodies averaging down punchily here and/or taking decent sized new positions here could rally an illiquid stock like this currently is sustainably back into the 1.5 p to 2p range fairly readily around now too..

I'm close to adding more / averaging down here too...

Involvement in shares such as this is gambling.... but at least it's in a space that can - hopefully - in the future save lives.. So I consider losses I incur in any such bets as akin to a charitable donation.

But I'm shocked at the lowly level of the placing price.. I'd have guessed it would be at around 2.5 p yesterday evening... and very disappointed that no partnership was ageable with a recognised industry player around this time

Sounding out such placings always results in leaks, alas.

I'm gutted in various ways here now... but it was me that placed a BET here..... and I'm not made play this barbaric game, I choose to.

PS; I sold some - at a smallish loss - this morning but keep approx. two thirds of my bet in play ... in hope
