If the management team are not prepared to shout loudly to PI's about the greatness of this companies resources few newbies will buy here anyway imho.. eg few have previously and few are now...

Given the management teams farcical lack of marketing orientation here I feel no guilt whatsoever showing my annoyance.. in the hope that they'll read this BB and wake up in that sense.. i fully accept that this company is good at drilling, in fairness.. but the s/p here, for many years, has said that in itself is not enough to be good at, alas.

PS: I hold plenty less than i used do at my peak holding here btw .. and am well under water, obviously ..but not tempted to averge down even at these levels.. unless and until management market the company effectively to encourage pi's to buy in the open market.. and while awfully tempted to sell more down again I'm going to try and make myself hang in here with what i've left and am praying for a sale event in the next 12 months so I run and make sure to drink enough to blank in my mind ever having heard the name landore :-))

I like my IPA's too Samval.. single malts less so .. but very cultured no doubt.. I just don't want to be a total alcoholic :-)

As I see it, this company has been 'effectively up for sale' for at least the last 3 ish years .... but the feedbnack they were semingly getting was that they needed to prove the gold up considerably more meaningfully - eg 2mt ish - before any meaningful offers might have a chance of being forth coming was a thing they were ongoingly looking to address via more recent gold drilling campaign(s)....

In the afore context, an announcement if there's a bid made that the board consider worthy of consideration, I get.. but an announcement that Lnd.l is 'up for sale' confuses me somewhat, UR?

Out of persistence, hope and an openess to patience i've decided not just to stick with this share but to top up into weakness too.. and just did a top up around .80p ish even .. and would do another around .70p ...etc on down.. obviously GREAT is this doesn't carry on down.. but it's clearly a very tricky share. alas..

(How I wish I'd picked Chariot - on my watch list too - instead of this scruffy doggy.. but such is life ...and medium term there could be nice rewards here.... very please)

Even I'd admit there could easily enough be some merit in that thinking by you Brakken , and same thinking by sundry others here too.. and great if there is !!

But 'towards balance' there are a number of alternative views that are plenty plauible too..

Off the top of my head here are a few:

No sale event on the near term horizon ..
and:

Why bother drilling more gold around now when having just excellently proved up a bunch more the market cr+ped all over your share price off the back. So change the focus for next drilling campaign.. and sit on the gold reserves as are in the hope a sale occurs later in 2022 or in 2023 etc

and/or

There could be a plan to segment monies into various metals drilling campaigns that could run in semi parellel .. and Lithium being the most left field is mentioned first

and/or

Scale warrant holders may convert only for specific purposes that they agree up front towards ensuring they go ahead with exercising on as many Warrants as possible eg I'll exercise x if the money is ring fenced for Lithium drilling only ... or Nikel drilling only..etc

and/or

After Warrants monies that are banked - summer, otherwise they expire - Lnd.l could seperately then go back to the market to raise specifically for a next Gold drilling campaign .. towards 'a ring fenced' follow on from the raise they did for the recent Gold drilling campaign.. and /or a ringfenced market for Nikel drill too perhaps .. (if warrants money not for it etc)

Sundry other permutations possible too .. but I'll not bother elaborating more.. as I'm annoying the happy clappers enough already with the afore, no doubt

Thanks Basscadet.. i think you were/are in Nanoco too.. these type of plays often take much, much time to get to meaningful revenue generation .. and so huge patience often required and the ability to sit on punchy losses without it being a problem too..

I'd continue small increments buying into any further weakness here now.. hopefully for long suffering there won't be much, or any even, further weakness .. but brutal game this can be..

based on seemingly great potential, I had 4k ish gbp 'placeholder' in this that is now down by about a half..
.. and just topped up.. gulp.. now have 5k ish gbp.. fool that i may easily be..

I rarely look in on this bb as this is not not a big bet for me.. but the last time I looked in - a good while ago - someone was talking about an ongoing dump from a large shareholder.. maybe this is them clearing out.. of maybe I'm completely off the mark on this angle ?

As chique says, plenty of months yet - at least 7 imho - to go before they even have to consider starting discussions re 2023 funding.. and a lot can happen in 7 plus months.... especially with the Janssen collabations..

Also, i'm reasonably confident that they'd get anther few million - at least - raise away here around the end of this year, if needs be.. granted potentially a price as low as in the 10 to 15p area even, alas..

That said, I've tweaked my holding strategy somewhat here for 2022 : every quarter of 2022 I'm selling down 20% of my holding here .. unless /until meaninghful - revenue related - news drops....as ever, I'm also very open to range trading too off the back of any meaningful news drop(s) if there were to be any, of course. ( sure I'd lose a fair few k from continuing to do this, but I'm, fortunately, way up from range trading the spikes and trough over the years here and so fine with giving a bit of the houses money back )

PS: I change my strategy as I believe the current CEO has little 'hard core marketing' orientation about him, versus previous management.. and so spikes and fall backs are far less likely here in 2022 versus previous years.. ( and so range trading oppportunities will be diminished markedly here in 2022 imho..

comeonvog is one of the leading 'happy clappers' here and he says 3.5p would work for him, excluding Paraguay.. that's ambitious imho but far from ridiculous.. parking paraguay, 20p seems a genuinely ridiculous target to me here.. but everyone is entitled to their opinion and anything is of course posible..

(it's not just about achieveing growing production , but AT WHAT COST.. these latest three wells could be a text book eg of Ppc.l doing what ppc.l does .. eg they might end up costing $13 to $15m all in.. and also come in at under previously outlined target production levels... including that very high O&G prices - which if we're lucky may lasy 2 to 3 years anyway - don't feed through nearly as much as they could for domestic Argentina sales, this might mean plenty of years just to get that investment back.. not to mind make a profit.. that's not even including any future production outages from them, and the additional costs of fixes that PPC.l, seem as a rule to have FAR too regularly across their production portfolio )

I used think the market was dumb in its pricing of ppc.l.. the more times goes by, the more I'm realising that it was me and not the market that was dumb..

Agree that, one way or other, CB will absolutely hit 2 Mt tonnes Andrew .. I include, in a worst case, Ascot early drilling results thrown in too..
(and, just in case, a cut off down to .10%, even :-))

The key thing is if and to what extent a relevant buyer is impressed. And CB has a life time of experience in the game towards judging that .. most here, including me, haven't a tiny fraction of that experience even..

PS: In answer to Eastern Investors point re having fixed time frames for reporting Alluvial and other income events: CB is not going to change the habit of a lifetime at this late stage in his jouney, I'd guess.. but he has been remarkably consistent, in fairness .. and that's useful in itself imho..
(Also, nobody is making anybody 'invest' here.. high risk/high reward is the nature of this game.. played to CB's rules mostly.. but, in the round, that's no different to many stocks on the AIM Casino)

This a Hold for me (and add some more if this retreats to 6 p ish..but fairly unlikely to see 6 ish p, i'd guess.. but anything can happen on AIM ..not least if some global macro related knock on effect hits to the wall of illiquidity that, generally, is AIM)

At the end of Jan we were told:

So i'm hoping that after the 52k barrels are lifted in June that there will be a very healthy amount of barrels still left in stock too ? Not deducible from todays RNS if my hopes will be come true or not .. so thats a Q for AC for whenever ?
