Couldn't resist another small top up today.. that was my 33p reserved bullet .. so now only got 36,35 and 34 p bullets left to fire.. hopefully I don't get to fire any of those... but if I do, my latest view, by default, is that this won't go lower than 34p !

Generally, In the context of of this being a big growth, super green sector and ies.l a currently leading/er player therein.. 230 ish p to 37 p is extraordinary in my mind.. you could say 230p was far too high far too quickly, granted .. but given this co. also has no debt and good cash balance in the bank.. no less than 70 p is more like fair value here now, instead of the current half that..... and 30's p is crazy stuff even!

super frustrating bet, this one for me.. and If only I had a grand for every time I said 'jam tomorrow' here..

They've kept the full year targets at least and so have to be confident in v strong second half..

And I still believe strongly in this... and so more patience - again - required

i'll certainly have served my time if and when this company moves on up to the next performance level ..

in the context of where this company is now at, not to mind soon to go to, I wholeheartedly feel that anything sub 1p around now for this share price is extremely low indeed..

bowleven likes its sleep.. and so is more of an afternoon stock..
...a few warmer upper buys coming in around now... and here's to a decent amount of buying this arbo..... 4.5p by close for eg would be nice..

I'm accumulating here slowly but surely.. got involved a bit too early and my average is currently in high 13's p and so somewhat off the current - shockingly low to me anyway - s/p level...but probably a decent average versus the field.. and I have a fair more bullets to fire here, potentially..(if further s/p weakness especially, although hopefully for the long suffering, not.. and I'm amazed it's this low in the circumstances )

If the s/p doesnt pick up meaningfully, I'd see this as a potential takeover target soon enough too..

Whateever, Maritime Defence spending alone is a big global growth sector going forward and even crumbs from the huge sums being invested will see Harl do well, i'd hope.. not to even mention other maritime sectors too..

Generally, I've been in this stock longer than most here and fully understand why plenty feel the need to moan from time to time here.... but i'd offer, in defence of the one and only Mr CB, that to be a longterm CEO in this space you need to be an eternal optimist.. and he absolutely is that .. hence why he's overly optimistic on most every time frame he gives imho...but, he's very consistent in that too, which is useful for range trading.. and just as long as he gets there in the end then fair enough imho.. and he seems to be with Fairbride 'ard, thankfully.. and hopefully ditto with Bushranger 'in the end' too..

it was a complete and utter farce this was 3p again very recently.. and it being 4p today is still a total farce.. this should easily be closer to 10p than 5p now imho.. Perenco are not getting involved here for fun.. they're deadly serious about progressing Etinde in quick order, imho.. so roll on FID and massive Bowleven re rate please..

So how operational is this now ?... and for how long have they been/ will they be at this level of restricted operations ? .. is that end Aug or beg Aug.. etc..? maybe even zero production there for a month or six weeks etc during this install ? .. who knows..

The points brasso makes about the debt grow out here just cannot be ignored by the happy clappers: It's SHOCKING, full stop..

Those three new wells are text book ppc.l.. well over bugeted cost and well under expected production levels.. that is what seemingly happens endlessly as the norm at ppc.l.. then you layer on top seemingly endless outages/breaks and then you layer on top the fixes costs for these.. eg another fix in lousiana not long after the last - huge - one etc..

In answer to NM's q: i've given up on this being 'investible' years ago..,, and I've all but given up on this being range trade bettable now too.... although if you can get a very very low enough average versus the field you've generally got some sort of chance of a range trade bet..so a few k at 1 odd p average is a bet i'd kinda still consider having a go at here.. (i've got 2k at 1.5 ish currently .. might another a 1 or more K on top if this goes to 1p ish )

and so I'm going to continue topping up here.. and indeed will do so into each penny this comes off from here now.. smaller size top ups granted as only 1p apart each time now... and did a top up in 37's p this morning to that end ..

And I think i've now bought some at every penny level from 43's p down to 37's p.. and am ready to go again at 36, 35 , 34, 33's p .,.. hopefully it doesn't continue on down of course..

I would be very surprised if this goes into 20's p and plenty surprised if it goes under 33p .. as technical buyers will more and more come into play from late 30's on down- technically this is more and more a compelling buy around now - to further counterbalance any selling.... and the 25k shares a pop seller will run out of bullets relatively soon I'll also guess..

And there was me recently saying this s/p was ludicrously low at 4p.. and I see it on the risers board today at up 5% ish to get to over 3p.. totally farcical imho.. And I steadfastly remain in the high hopes camp here..

As slipanchor mentions below, ducks are lining up one by one .. and, all factors together, the chance of this actually getting to FID now are much much higher than they were for eg a year ago imho.. yet the s/p doesn't even remotely reflect this...

.. but, again, it is what it is...alas.... for now..

my instinct is that some who dumped COPL this afternoon bought in here towards end of day..
.. and more buying here off the back of that sell off next week too, I'd guess..
I hold both but with decently bigger size in this.. and, right now, am thinking i'd far rather be in this in the coming multiple weeks than COPL..

Fairbride was my bet focus here originally and is very much my short-term focus here now.... and I'm reasonably comfortable with progress so far and upcomingly on that .. and if that goes broadly to plan in second half 2022, I think. 'in due course', 4p + on this share price is doable for that alone...

There are pros and cons to every bet, and you have to take a view and HOPE it's a good one..

Generally, nobody can be near sure how big a winner vanadium storage batteries will overall be and how big a winner within that space ies.l wil be versus whatever competition from wherever in the World, as we go.. especially as there's so much of the journey still to play out in this 'new' space.

But it's very likely a growth space generally and the company is debt free and reasonably well funded at this moment in time...and, so far, seemingly has - at least - a fairly leading offering in the space.. Put on top of that the s/p having already fallen from a peak of 230p ish - ? i think - to 40p ish in last 18 ish months and it feels like a good bet, if you can get to a reasonably low average price verus the field... but that's just my opinion.. and these as the games we play.

Towards balance, as AIM can be an utterly brutal game, I'm allowing myself a 15k gbp absolute max. BET size here, whatever.. and that would barely get it in my top ten holdings out of a p/f of 30 ish stocks.

PS: I still have a few bullets to fire at this.. even including another small top up at end of day yesterday, to get my average down to under 55p ..

Great if one the excellent posters here with far deeper knowledge than me can explainall this to me ..(Apols for relying so much on this BB's excellent quality posters,.. but you guys kindly provide amazing / quality detail here.. to the extent of me getting very dependent on this BB instead of my own research .. also I hold lots of stocks at any one time and so hard to do good research of my own so widely too ..etc)

sad this is under 40p now.. but I'm ok with sticking with my plan here and hope for best in the medium term.... so I bought a small amount more in late 38 's p a little earlier.. and am ready to small top up again if this goes into 36's.. hopefully it doesn't, obviously.. but in these markets of course it could do.. and lower again too.. alas.. but, over the duration , hopefully fortune favours the brave..

The assets here are excellent.. and no matter how mad/bear the market gets that will count for plenty at the end of the day....
While I'm irate with the management team here for living in the past - and who older amongst here doesn't, in fairness - I say again the assets here are excellent.
