More incredible bull......g again... to save the day?
Not putting a year with that prediction, Sir ?
Or, like Mr Professional, you can be...... in... out... in..... out... etc again ... and using shorts to shake it all about.... etc again..
So header not say it all on this occasion, Sir
Agree Webis should stay away from any sort of direct entry into a saturated UK Market
Them continuing to make a small annual loss is/will be off putting, granted.. and the chance that might turn into a bigger loss again further off putting.... so, as well as focusing on finding someone to buy the co out or such like, they need focus harder on fine tuning their current operations to get this back to even small profit... that in itself would give the s/p a punchy pick up, I'd expect... and increase attractiveness / value for selling out.. etc
More generally, the market cap here is under 5m gbp now.. so never mind 75m buy out value.. even 25m gbp would be a big win for most involved here.. and any sort pf rumour/ wider sector merger / acquisition etc can see a spike in s/p here too .... so this gives trading opportunities for the patient as well. (I've range traded this decently for years.. and always keep a core holding here too.. and have topped up twice in recent months at what I believe are lowly s/p levels...)
''I think it's a sad demonstration of just how much damage to his reputation CB has done in the past 12 months or so.''
A look at the traded volume here for the last year brings this point brutally home. I struggle for words to verbalise how abject it has been.. you're talking very approx an average of 25 m shares traded - buys and sells - per month it that time....equating to a million odd shares a trading day.. accepting s/p was on average a fair bit higher than currently thru that time, you're still only talking v approx 15k gbp a days traded on average per day over the last year.. again that's buys and sells together ..frightening, really...
BUT
....peoples memories can be shorter than you'd think .. and new blood enters the market/sector as we go too .. and on fundamentals this seems a clear buy at these levels imho .... and meaningful news can beget meaningful volume pick ups.. and volume begets volume ..etc..
This time next year.
You know it makes sense.
Nice news yesterday.. but if SS is still progressive and still only semi close to completion stage, then I'm absolutely all for another extension of our suspension.
AK very much needs to come out of suspension with a blatantly big win under his belt imho.. if not SS then a n other ..
(yesterdays news is small/medium win in my mind, for context)
If Mr Professional open big short soon... and transformational RNS drop soon after.. Mr WOS might expect Mr Professional cry like baby, Sir ..
When he stop crying .. he think best bin Mr Professional name and come back with new name here to disguise.. If he pick Mr Amateur, Mr WOS know who he is straight away, Sir
PS:
''A lot of money has been paid by private investors to fund these ‘companies’ but the more interesting question is how much money has been paid to Colin Bird, over these periods?''
For my info, what's your best rough guess on this number Kwadoko? ( and can you break that big figure out a bit too please)
Entertaining to look in here this morning and see kwadoku back.. and a Brucey bonus of oldschoolview banging out a no brainer post too !
I've ticked up all kwadoko's posts for some time now, in fairness.. as the share price is indeed the benchmark ...and xtr's is
- sadly - totally, utterly and completely abject...
BUT.. even I, as a Colin Bird critic, feel that a Market Cap of 8m ish gbp here is ridiculously low versus the assets and forward cash from Manica sale here.... and there has been no placement for 3 ish years here either .. and that placement then was 'cleverly' done - at 5.6p - when the sun was shining ..... and there's no placement to come in 24 either.... with drilling of an interesting - hot Zambia - prospect to come from kitty funds.. and a Bushranger holding that PoC rises might readily sooninsh bring back into the decent asset category.... all leading me to offer that I readily sit patiently on my holding here.... as I value this company at at least 1.5p a share around now..
You Sir are the Noixtimist
Maybe Mr WOS be Dutch Owl of the Double sub species, Sir :-)
Buy hold and sell... who cares indeed Mr WOS, Sir.
Over many years here I do buy hold and sell a lot of times here Sir ..Sneaky Sneakers, Sir... without me or anyone else caring....all while waiting for Petro Matad to develop into major success story, Sir.
Maybe I get to do the same for many years more while waiting for Petro Matad to develop into major success story, Sir ...given the pace of all things Mongolia/Perto Matad, Sir ?
Do ARC have an overboarding policy Travelcard asks?
In terms of being open to throwing longterm shareholders over board, I'd guess yes.. In terms of NvS getting involved in whatever company boards he wants when he wants I'd guess no
No need for questions Cruella.
Mr Colin Bird has got this.
What could possibly go wrong.
I'm more into trading - not days.. usually not weeks.... but often churning over months - than medium/long term buying and holding, SeisNav..so spikes/potential spikes in traded volume - usually on news - interest me a lot.. and liquidity in a stock helps me generally....
Also, dumb as it often - but far from always - is, I do rely somewhat on identifying 'quality' posters on BB 's and somewhat taking my chances on their research being decent .. I'll snoop around a BB for a decent amount of time before committing meaningfully to buying in, towards identifying such .. bit hit and miss, granted.. eg I bought fairly heavily into Fulmar's thinking here :-)
PS: Small/Mid cap Oil & Gas is my specialist area .. metals names far less so .. but I have a strong view on POC rally to support the Greening of Economies.. hence why I'm in xtr and arcm.... hard for me to pick which, in the round, has the worst management granted.. but I'm actually coming round to thinking it may be here .. but with AA owning drilling, the chance of discovery is much better here versus there imho.. and meaningful discovery is the basis of the game here....
There is no way on Earth this is remotely near the worst share on AIM peggycilla..
I've held over 100 stocks on AIM in my time.. 11 of which have gone to zero.. I hold 30 ish stocks currently, up to a third of which are nailed on worse than this.
(the best range trading opportunities are often in the dodgiest stock is why I do it btw.. and I promise I've made plenty more than I've lost in this BETTING GAME.. although the AIM Bear Market we've been through in recent times is something that I've never remotely experienced previously.. ie I - thankfully - missed 2009/2010 as wasn't in this game then .. so had little concept of the effect of a prolonged massive lack of liquidity in the market generally means for dodgy stocks .. ie it's utterly barbaric)
PS : I still think you're an intelligent guy Fulmar ...and articulate the Bull case here well.. and I will always read carefully what you post here.. but equally I'll take on board what DonkeyOatey etc says too..
I'm here for that big discovery SensibleGuy .. and that would of course underpin a significant rally here.. but my lack of trust/belief in management here has this as a trading share for me now.. selling down into any meaningful rally ..
Also, the bears/derampers deserve their moment in the sun here now.. because they've called it right for an awfully long time here.. and the Bulls the opposite.. especially clearly so recently
And finally, I've watched in here for plenty longer than I've held shares of any note here.. and while I understand fulmar to be an intelligent guy who posts the bull case well, I'll also now offer that he's gone from one of the posters I most believed in here to one I'm most cautious about.. he's effectively a mouthpiece for management here imho.. and very unbalanced in what he posts.. and as I especially now see management here are clearly weak in a variety of important senses, I feel I now have to be much more cautious on what Fulmar says here going forward.
(Towards balance, management did get the JV done and that exploration is is in the hands of AA experts now, thankfully.. and that's potentially great in itself !... but all the rest of activities management are now looking to focus on - Botswana.. other Zambia - has me worried that they'll spend a bunch of money for little return.. and with their large salaries on top too, there will be ongoingly proportionally large cash burn here as a rule imho .. so I'm stepping very cautiously here now.. however, between 1.8 p and 3p+ is a clear enough path in my mind.. and as I have a relatively low average versus the field, that's a trading opportunity in itself for me.... and here's to that play out occurring in the coming months, very please
The profile of the trades here today has me think algo(s) strategy still playing out here.. and my guess remains algo(s) still looking to, in the round, accumulate... while creating smokescreens of disguise.. and also looking to tease out selling around these levels to help accumulation in as cheap a fashion as possible..
So strong hold - or buy even, for the true believers in a turnaround here - would be my view here now..
