I had said many many times prior to Trial that we simply could not be sure what Samsungs approach at trial might have been. They clearly were playing a game of brinksmanship as well and perhaps had some cards they could play that Nanoco’s legal team were unaware of or indeed were aware of hence the late settlement. I think the binary mode adopted my many pre-trial that we would win come what may was incredibly short sighted and so far some people remain entrenched with the same beliefs and completely discount the companies reasoning for settling which under such circumstances is sensible. In my opinion. And the board and the advisors. But not TG2D. Which is understandable.

You should start a career in law. You’d save people a fortune in time and money making decisions on complex IP cases with your sweeping brush statements.

When the company has previously guided that it does not know in which end consumer unit the sensor(s) will be launched in, be that VR or Phones, how can a responsible board make any predictions on revenue until they receive orders? You can’t criticise on one hand the board for providing guidance you don’t agree with then on the other encourage them to speculate and be in breach of financial reporting rules.

Once again you are creating a false narrative.

Why not wait for the vote. If there’s a large swing towards ousting the board from votes case or indeed for someone the axe falls I’ll put my hands up and admit I misjudged investor sentiment.

On the other hand if the vote is obviously mainly against the resolutions can the other parties admit they were in the minority?

The risk I see is that not everyone is motivated to vote, perhaps perceiving little risk in which case TH 5.02% (or whatever it is) will carry much more than 5.02% in the final count.

We shall have to wait and see.

The video is pretty cool and illustrates just some of the potential applications for QD and SWIR. Hopefully Nanoco’s dots are being put forward by STM to lots of different customers and applications (BT did mention thousands in his last RNS). This would put VisionPro in the shade in terms of dots required if the tech ends up being ubiquitous in our daily lives although there is an element of concern about where are we heading as humanity when it comes to AR and these invasive technologies.

I suppose it’s inevitable and hopefully those invested here including myself profit from it rather than not if it’s going to happen one way or another.
