In terms of the pre-emption rights on the transfer of shares, their primary function is to help maintain the existing shareholder base and limit the ability for an unknown third-party shareholder to become involved in the company. Nanoco is proposing this is removed in connection with "an acquisition or specified capital investment" It would be useful to understand ore about the context of this before voting.

Ecclescake I agree. STM might get some recognition in time but it’s unlikely Nanoco will be to STM as

ARM was to Apple. The sensor is the part people will focus on, not the enabling technology behind it.

It’s akin to wanting BMW to tell me not only who supplied their parking sensors but also the various component companies within it. That kind of granular detail will only be of interest to stakeholders.

What will matter is our technology being widely adopted and supported by revenue and longevity.

Unsurprisingly biased responses here and disappointing to see criticism of the company when it’s delivery matches guidance but that’s the world we live in. We are all biased even when we think we’re not.

For me whatever happened with Samsung doesn’t apply here other than IP is validated and the money resulting from the settlement.

This is another a different product for a different use. So many companies come to the AIM market (Nanoco not being an AIM company but similar narrative) promising this and delivering nothing but investor pain in the pump and dump cycle we’ve all witnessed before. Nanoco has delivered its first commercially produced product (ignoring Nanogeddons semantics yesterday) and they’ve done so as guided. Anyone expecting a barnstorming first commercial order is expecting too much although we’d all be delighted with an upside, when companies guide one thing and deliver another that’s a red flag 🚩 (HH, TS, Kooba, TG2D and all the other settlement complainers can comment on that last comment to their hearts content because that’s all they do).

Nanogeddon I’m not trying to pull the wool over anyone’s eyes. You believe the BoD are lying crooks and LOAM are insider trading where I don’t.

It’s that simple. Only time will tell who’s right and who’s wrong.

I could lose a significant amount of money in my SIPP or I could retire comfortably when I reach 55.

You could avoid further loss or not benefit fully from any unexpected rise on news.

But you could get on board once there is more information and that’s a sensible investment strategy. I’m down on my investment but not significantly and believe there’s not much more downside but I could be wrong.

Will not be surprised in the least if we aren't in Vision Pro. STM have so many customers it could end up in any manner of applications. For all we know it'll be on a food production line looking for rotten potatoes or non organic materials to improve quality. The key is it has to start somewhere.

This is Vision Pro 2 - an evolution of the Vision Pro being released next year and not the cheaper version you were suggesting would be launched in Q3/4 2024 which is slated for late 25 into 26 and will likely be called Apple Vision One.

I simply don’t like bull**** made up fantastical posts. And I’ll call them out every time. As indeed some have done to me which is equally perfectly acceptable. The best way to avoid being called out as a muppet is not to behave like one.
