Versus the alternative of ongoing appeals and no money and the possibility of PTAB decisions being overturned and assuming a jury awarded us anything like the upper damages models......

On the 19th Gonebroke mentioned Netlist and BUR as comparators to Nanoco in relation to 'winning' in court and subsequent non payment. He wrote "Well, have a look at Netlist and Burford for an idea of what happens when you actually win the case. I think TG2D has quoted Netlist in the past as an indication of the great results that can be achieved. So the share price has dropped around 75% since the case was "won", with appeals still going on, no money paid."

I have had a look at Netlist. The PTAB (Patent Trial and Appeal Board) found for Samsung on appeal ( the same process we were going to go through) in relation to its $303m award which is the second such ruling in this case. Their share price rose commensurate with the 'win' and has now dropped back to previous levels as it looks increasingly likely they may be awarded less or nothing at all and it appears they are running out of money to fight their corner and will need to potentially do a raise.

Meanwhile Burford Capital are in a fight between the US Supreme Court and the new Argentinian Government for the payment they are legally entitled to which will ilkely be diluted and paid over many years instead of the headline figure as many thought.

We cannot know how we would get on in court or in the PTAB. Simply repeating ad nauseum that we would have won is naive. What the company did in relation to settling after consulting with advisors and legal teams was sensible particularly when you see evidence of PTAB decisions being overturned.

Then Foxtrot Oscar. No one should need spoon fed information from the board. They’ve told us all what’s happening and it’s a matter of waiting until they achieve the medium term objective to become self financing whilst working on a several fronts.

An inflection point for the company was validation of IP and moving into commercial production with a view to becoming self financing. It was not and never was about a sudden uplift in the share price as many still believe.

Go and find your dummy and put it back in your [whining] mouth TG2D. You were wrong footed by the settlement you expected to gross $750m in court because you misread the messages from the company - meanwhile professional investors whose literal jobs depend on due diligence backed up with financial resources to for example get info behind paywalls acted in the best interests of their clients. Perhaps you should sell Nanoco and invest in one of their funds!

What’s the obsession with the second gen delivery date? You say in the headline “early 2025” when the article actually says “ They could lay the groundwork for excitement around the rumored much less expensive versions of the Vision Pro that will probably arrive in 2025.”………..no mention of “early” at all.
