There are 4 trades at the same time that balance so either someone moving between accounts or an inter fund transfer . Either way the buys equal the sells. As always.

Daz the volume is significant I'll give you that but please don't assume its a buy or a sell just because its reported as such. It's not a true representation of the trade which as I've said before.....has two sides.

Can anyone find the video of the STM demo of the SWIR sensor that was released I think in the last 12 months on YouTube where you can see for example inside food packaging or a bruise on an apple etc? I can’t find it for the life of me! TIA

Proliferation and wide adoption of these sensors everywhere. They could be a fad that lasts. QD SWIR sensors just for example in the home for security, devices, wearables, vacuums, alarms, TV’s mirrors, monitors, kitchen appliances - fridges and pantries for freshness, gestures etc. heat control, draught proofing and insulation for pipes and windows, other new technology involving 5G, ToF, AR/display ……

Imagine how many units that adds up to.

I’m not getting muddled but you are jumping to conclusions and your track record ain’t good in this regard.

The lesson is to read what is published in context. I guarantee you if there is another company going through the same legal process with the potential for a settlement you’d see the potential figures for a successful win in court and adjust accordingly…..downwards not upwards as many were inclined to do at the end of ‘22.

I see Edison as PR and all PR needs filtering.

TG2D I admire your optimism but you are once again displaying a proclivity to shall we say, over-egg the pudding.

The guidance from Edison is likely to be reasonably accurate at 20p per sensor. I suppose it could be higher in lower volumes. Each STM sensor cost or sale price is irrelevant to the Nanoco investment case. If they were selling for £26.00 Nanoco will still only be receiving around 20p.

You are making assumptions on the volumes of QD's and that all 13 sensors are SWIR.

You may be right but this sort of talk can often create a false expectation. Better just to wait until we get confirmation we are even in the device. The company did not amend its guidance in the last RNS for 2024 revenues so I see no reason for speculation to the contrary here.

There was some discussion on this thread early January about potential revenue if we are in the Vision Pro with some thinking £10 per headset to Nanoco assuming all 13 sensors contain SWIR QD tech.

I just checked Edison to see if there was anything on the STM RNS and they haven't releases a new note as yet - I expect something later today.

What is there is there is a summary of Nanoco that gives some guidance on revenue per sensor.

"Management has said that an order for around 100m sensor units could generate around £20m in revenue, which would equate to deployment across a high-volume handset range, especially if multiple sensors are included in the device...."

That equates to 20p per sensor revenue. Margin is not mentioned.
