I pointed out a slide from last month suggesting CFQD TV's will grow from c.6% to c.34% and of that Samsung market share declines through to 2026/7 where it is roughly only 50%. NB the volume of CFQD's in each panel is increasing.

I don't think you understand that releasing an RNS now on something that won't deliver, assuming it does, in another 2 or 3 years is a requirement of corporate governance regardless of the reaction of the SP that doesn't really move market sentiment much when the market is well informed.

Blimey I wish this company would stop trying to improve investor sentiment as requested by investors here, keeping us informed as they build new partnerships and highlighting timescales to allow us to make informed long term investment decisions.

I'd rather they announced tangible things like dual listing on the NASDAQ (absent of commercial orders just for a PR exercise despite the fact they are ineligible for being listed on NASDAQ.

CFQD is not dead. If you look at the presentations the use of CFQD's by non Samsung companies is forecast to increase significantly and exceed that of Samsung by 2030. The graph is not interrogatable but it looks like parity is reached around 2026/2027

Ddubya I'd love a takeover so I can be rid of some of the posters here and enjoy retirement when it comes. Once the road ahead becomes clear for all then it's a distinct possibility - but not yet as you point out.

TG2D you have ben repeatedly advised that the development cycle for these materials takes 5+ years. Why moan about it.

I believe the SP will rise from the point the dividend is announced until it becomes unprofitable to benefit from it. I do not believe for one second it will remain where it is and only to go down without anyone buying shares before the recording date. There are various mechanisms to do this. The notion it won’t be traded is myopic.

Arbitrage is the simultaneous purchase and sale of the same or similar asset in different markets in order to profit from tiny differences in the asset's listed price. It exploits short-lived variations in the price of identical or similar financial instruments in different markets or in different forms.

Arbitrage happens pre and post dividend. Do you really think a trader will simply ignore the opportunity at Nanoco?
