Is it so wrong for someone with industry knowledge to try and speak up against those perhaps not so knowledgeable in the hope that the information is heard along with the rhetoric being spouted by Senseman and his horde so that informed decisions can be made? Is that not a good thing? Imagine if all you heard were positives and the realties of the reservoir were not pointed out....people who don't do their own research (and be honest, we are all guilty of not being diligent enough at times) might 'blindly' pile in money here expecting a huge reward only to find the well gets shut in next week.

So **** me off as much as you want, I don;t care as I think it's important that people are provided with balanced views and I'll continue to point out where people are being inaccurate. Remember all I am doing is highlighting BoD guidance on the bubble point. Senseman meanwhile is speaking as if the bubble point can be managed by industry accepted techniques and he's wrong as last time I checked HUR can't deal; with the gas liberated once the BP is reached without an offtake facility or flaring consent from the OGA. He also made out that the AM contract extension is in the bag. It isn't until confirmed.

You can bet that many of these NSTigers were fairly well plugged into the HUR story. Many will possess the requisite industry knowledge or have access to it through connections, and trust me these bonds between fellow oil workers is as strong as oak so the trust between them is unquestioned. Many understood the premise of the play or could get understanding from those more knowledgeable. And yet many lost significant sums of money as the company was providing, willingly or otherwise, limited or misleading information. For that I blame Dr Trice but only because he was a passionate believer in the basement play.

Now that more pertinent information is in the public domain, for example an acceptance that the water is not perched but is from the aquifer, regular updates from the BoD on the production and reservoir data along with forward guidance, these same people are now better armed with information to make more informed decisions and so far their advice is consistent.

The question is, who is Senseman and his merry band? Are they industry experts or punters? Or are they more orientated to the fiscal and corporate angle of the business or are they traders here to ply their trade? If they do not understand the principles of reservoir dynamics then be wary when they state that "everything is well with HUR" as you may find yourself waking up to an RNS one day that is extremely damaging to your holding. CA are in this for themselves I can assure you. If you benefit from their actions that is something they will of course try and achieve but tread carefully as these city hyenas are much more dangerous than a North Sea Tiger.

BigEasy - by March according to the BOD the reservoir will have reached the bubble point, more likely sooner. 1.2-1.5p is more likely as even if the oil price was $100 with reduced or shut-in production there is no justification for anything higher.

CA will dilute this to the max to get money to drill a new well......and Kerogen will play along as otherwise it's Game Over.

Haha - it's reality dude. Have you watched 'Don't look up' on Netflix? So many parallels on here it should be made into a prequel.

I recall a debate (ok it wasn't a debate it was the late Andy Kaye (AdoubleUK)'s view) that drilling a water injection well was a 'stupid' idea. I think it went along the line that if you have increasing water cut why would you want to add more water into the equation?

Of course the purpose of water injection is water flooding which is a secondary drive mechanism. HUR already thought they had a secondary drive solution (for when the primary drive 'failed' the natural virgin reservoir pressure that is) by including in the completion design two electrical submersible pumps. What they hadn't factored in was that the reservoir reach of the well(s) was not as large a volume as they thought (ref revised CPR) and the decline in BHP would be as accelerated as a result.

Another sometime used method to mitigate the arrival of the bubble point is to stress the reservoir which is why I believe they introduced the ESP's earlier than anticipated.

Clearly this reservoir reality was identified some time ago.

I remind you of a post I made in December where I'd trended the accelerating decrease in BHP. The next operational update will again; be insightful.

He has no facts. Industry managed bubble point nonsense earlier was the best he could manage without appreciating that in order to manage it you need to either choke production, alter the reservoir pressure behaviour or have an off take facility. The 'industry' has this as they are tied into pipelines or have other means at their disposal........HUR has nothing in its arsenal currently.

It could be be last opportunities here to sell at these nonsense high company valuations, plenty of updates now look imminent, and 2022 should be a drastic year for HUR but not for PoO.

6 will need consent from the regulator for increased GOR to produce below the bubble point. Good luck with that. Unless the [as yet undefined] development plan results in meaningful benefits to UK Plc then they are unlikely to give consent just to support mugs like you from one well Dumbman especially when it is contrary to their CO2 reduction targets.

Senseman can you produce evidence of when the BOD last stated production until 2024 that also correlates with reducing BHP and impending bubble point with no material changes to production rates or infrastructure upgrades? I.e.when was the 2024 guidance last issued, was it before during or after the BOD guidance on bubble point?

Half Enquest value? They are at least producing from more than one well and 4-5 times more per day.

I sincerely hope people realise if HUR had two wells with stable production around 20koepd I’d hold shares and be building my holding at every opportunity. But they don’t. They have one well that’s in a perilous state and suggesting that everything is hunky dory is simply not good investment advice.

You post in such lovely terms guys. Clearly all lovely people and it’s easy to see why so many follow your investment advice.

Reservoir dynamics - Bottom hole pressure, bubble point, water cut
Completion dynamics - single working ESP and no easy fix (ergo no cheap fix)
Topsides-AM contract extension still pending. Gas constrained.
Corporate-no JV. Also risk of significant dilution to fund further development, if not wound up.

But hey, it's all going well because of tax credits. And the oil price. And as long as you focus on that and ignore the rest then top-up for all I care. The market is often irrational especially with you lot investing.
