All I see is a sea of green and then you grouping up and someone trying in vain to fight against it. It’s pretty sad across the board really and a waste of emotional energy.

I mean everyone obsessed with trying to prove their might against others via a keyboard when in reality we all have a common goal.

We are all individuals with different characters. Maybe just accept that and move on so we can discuss matters related to the company rather than repeated amateur psychoanalysis that's aimed to cause distress and to satisfying your appetites.

Just lucky I guess right enough. Zero sum game has losers and winners. I’m long term and could end up a loser yet. But winners are grinners - had I mentioned that you’d not have something else to moan about.

I’ll rephrase- the people complaining are the ones that feel so much has been taken from them which is understandable.

The whole thing is a zero sum game. The losers are griping. But I don’t blame them because life these days is all about positions and perspective. I never invested around the litigation, it came as a pleasant surprise to me. Smithyb has invested afterwards and appears to hold no regrets about previous behaviours. The only people moaning are those who felt so much was taken from them. Nothing can change this. We’d be better served just respecting one another’s perspective rather than this constant bickering.

Anyway I'm off to do my day job. Nanoco only pay me between 0600-0800 and 1800 onwards.

Feeks if you are so knowledgeable about Nanoco's litigation funding, and I'm so simple, why did you not see this coming and protect youerself from loss?

BT said he wanted to settle. You ignored that in full knowledge that it would mean a lower outcome than that from a potential successful trial outcome.

I'm not sure how settling for $150m (whether that includes sale of IP, that much of that money goes to the funder plus tax etc.) could be classed as "defeat" but one thing I can be sure of is; we will never agree on this. I think you are the one who has a skewed perspective on this, one that comes from the typical overhyping one sees time and time again in small cap investments where is you are in at the right time you profit (I bought PHEG shares way back at fractions of a penny. I had 1.14m shares at one point and wish I'd held onto them as they spiked to 10p- I think someone here tipped them and I took a punt ;-)) . Some people will have bought shares in that company at 10p and be 90% down. There are many examples of small cap companies going under or being over hyped by retail. VRS rings a bell. Wandisco another but they had a crook employed that over inflated sales. Nanoco is a high risk play and sadly some people will get burned. I may get torched in October.

I assume you mean the funder has rights? And what the board said in January 2022 is no longer relevant so your statement bears no relevance on agreeing with me or not - that was a snapshot in time based on situations that no longer apply.

It strikes me that you have lost a not insignificant sum of money in your Nanoco investment and you bear a grudge. I understand that fully. I have not lost a significant sum and remain invested and understand that there is a significant risk associated with that when the next announcement arrives. Gen 1 is not the material that is going to deliver for the company but it is important in the narrative. Gen 2 and display is where it's going to come from and that's still a long term investment strategy I'm here for.

Suggesting I'm paid by the company really exposes a lack of understanding that two individual investors who have a different investment strategy can disagree. One can support the board and what they say and the other can feel aggrieved. That doesn't mean one is being paid to hold these views.

I could equally claim you are a TH stooge but I don't because I realise what a ridiculous conclusion that would be to arrive at.
