You're right of course westie, to me it is a lot. As a percentage of wealth I am in as much as most. I don't risk what I cannot afford to lose. That doesn't mean it wouldn't hurt.
I take comfort from those that have a large number of shares and place some great informative posts on here. My main investment is in another mining company, but this may well supersede that if more funds become available.

Yes if it holds true to past form we should have a good couple of months run on gold, so our first quarter results should be impressive. This should be back in the 30s the amount of gold we are producing and the price.

For gold to go on a rally, and is holding true to historic rises this time of year. Up to $1491 this morning on a steady overnight rise. The first quarter is normally good to gold, so with end of year looking positive, second mill churning away nicely. All to play for. Merry Christmas to all.

Its virtually one for one. Just people taking profits, getting scared, and other people buying in at what they perceive to be a good entry price.

Agree. POG up $15 on the day, both mills going full tilt, rainy season over, now owning more CORA shares. SP should be atleast double here.

Learnt a very good lesson a long time ago from one of my old bosses when someone said that's not what our lawyer said. He replied " If you're so sure of your case, on you go. Fifty percent of the lawyers in the world are wrong" Never forgotten it.

If you fail to look at the past then you run the risk of making those mistakes again. One of those failings was and is poor communication, which has led to companies failing in the past. If you are listed on a financial market communication and how it is communicated is a key component. If the company is not promoted in a positive light, the SP will languish and then a larger company will come along and make a bid for it at a knock down price i.e less than its brown field price in this case.
As for the SP on a downwards trajectory. It loses more in these news vacant spells than we gain on good news and yet people are overjoyed when we get a 5 to 10% rise when we have lost 25% over the proceeding few months. Not the way in my view to let this company languish with no explanation.

Didn't budge much when the POG was $1550 so imo its the lack of LOM news keeping us drifting. HUM need to get their finger out with regards to news. Its not just about shovelling the stuff out the ground and turning it in to bars. The market and us want to know what is happening now and again.

Yes you're right and if this is the low then $600 an ounce is very acceptable, but I think we will see gold go much higher moving toward Christmas and the new year. Output should be higher if there are no issues, due to now having two mills churning away.

The dip before the rise. Historically there tends to be a rise from December through January and February. USA over pricing the market on the back of a maybe trade deal with China to bring the tariffs down. Nothing agreed, not even where they will meet, so anything can happen. Could be a volatile few weeks ahead. Gold continuing to slide this morning, but USA markets predicted to open lower to start the day so gold may get a bounce, although dollar forging even higher. Hold on tight, scream if you want to go faster.
