Morning all. Just enjoying the Sunday piece and quiet;-) Apparently bank of America predicting $3000 in the next year. Not thorally read up on it yet. But a comment that they are not usually wrong is encouraging.Glad I got it right TBT not always a good thing second guessing what someone meant, just trying to be helpful.

I think TBTs point refers to the fact we had liquid assets (gold and cash of $25 million)
If we produce say 11,000 oz at around $1670 an oz give us just over $9 million after AISC of $850 is deducted.
Add the $25 m to the $9m gives $34 m and at the end of Q1 we had a debt of $34m so from there on in cash positive. Not quite as simple as that but for all intense purposes that's the gist of it I think. Run out of fingers and toes a few times doing this so forgive my crude maths. Have a good safe weekend.

Still happy anything above $1500, so at this price its awesome. Not forgetting the low oil price now is giving us a substantial saving on running costs.

I think when it lifts off it will be quick, but when that will be. I couldn't tell you. Which is why I hold and hold and hold. The fear of missing out. At least it looks way more positive the longer we go in to this second quarter with gold above $1700 and rumoured to climb much higher.

As Goldie intimated that has to be around $1000 profit an ounce. Caching.

Could it close tomorrow at around $1800?

If I had have said when gold was $1300 an oz that when it goes to $1700 an oz we will be valued less, you would have laughed me off the board. Yet here we are in just such a position. So I can't call it any who any more. I know I bought a mud field in the middle of the forest that was worth more than this producing gold mine. Go figure.

Up 6% this morning. Not great as they have dropped to this level but its a bonus for today.
Oil drop has to be good for their bottom line too.

They can't print it, but you can bet your boots they will try and manipulate the price as much as they can. They will hate to give up any financial power. Thankfully gold will again be the default store of value backing world currencies, and so the big correction to true value will continue to the upside.imo

Morning Wasa, I am also invested in a gold mine, and approximately a third of our costs is fuel.
Therefore our AISC all in sustainable costs should start to reduce significantly if the oil price continues to stay low. There is always a lag, so I cant give you figures at the moment. However as the Nickel will have to be trucked to the plant, again costs should be significantly reduced.

At the current output and POG we are making over $500,000 a day before costs. I'll take it.

Nearly three weeks in on Q2 and gold hovering around $1700, Oil at an all time low. Yep I can't see why we haven't gone lower. If we produce any more gold with a lower AISC and the POG goes up, we could get under the 20p mark;-)

Absolutely, just don't think its now the reason why the SP is down here. I have to confess it puzzles me.

As long as we keep churning out gold on both mills and the POG keeps rising and oil keeps dropping. LOM going to be extended due to on going drill programme. Dugbe gaining value all the time. It doesn't matter if a monkey is at the helm. It will have to come to a point of buy backs/ dividends, or it will be so attractive that it will get taken over, and if it did, most if not all here would still make a handsome profit. I am as peeved as the next person, but I don't believe its anything to do with Dan's personality. Lack of PR has always been an issue for me, but WTFDIK.
