Last time USA experienced deflation or stagflation was in the 70s and the price of gold increased 20 fold from $42 and ounce to $840 an ounce. Can you imagine anywhere near that type of increase and where we would be.

Basically asked the question the other day. There should be a connection between the POG and the value of a productive mine. But there isn't anymore. Not for us anyway. Just to repeat, AISC should be coming down too, so a double lift on profit. Yet we just drift lower. Then we get little tickle from an RNS then slowly drift back again.

You would think that a gold producing mines SP would have some link to the POG? Some formula where by you could calculate how much rise could be expected on a percentage of POG. Is there such a thing, or has there been in the past?

Powell's speech not going down to well, so gold may gain some today. On the rise at the moment.

We where at this price 8 months ago when gold was at $1500. So go figure. Cant be bothered doing all the maths again of how much debt we have paid off and how much we are now making each month, but we are not seeing true value here.

Could coincide with the POG breaking out of the range it's been in at his last couple of weeks. Being stuck around $1700 is no bad place to be, but a lot of experts predicting $2000 by year end. China and USA still having their spat helps to the upside.

Not sure if they would delete it because you made a mistake. If it had derogatory statements or foul language that is a different matter. Also late in the day and reduced staffing levels may play a part. No biggie.

A few of us saying the same thing. All using rough guestimates, but coming up with the same conclusion. Welcome aboard the gold train.

Can't pay the debt down any quicker because of penalties, so exploration going ahead as planned and no more than 15% of budget. If no acquisitions in the pipeline, then it's not to early for a dividend. If there is an acquisition on the cards then thats different. CORA IMO is a gift horse we are staring at. LOM and second mine and exploration in one purchase.

Looks like we are stuck here. No news forthcoming. Gold stuck in a range and low volume. Despite all the positives that HUM are doing, nothing is giving us the lift we need. Guess I will just have to sit tight and wait it out.

We where up last week to our 52 week high I think when our ask was 30p,. So are they a week behind? I notice that is their 52 week high.
