Gold showing strength again today, on the rise at $1633 at the moment. Good start to the second quarter and who knows where it will go to by end of June. First quarter squared away now so we just need too see the figures. Looking forward it.

To be debt free in 2021 and also to have POG anywhere near that valuation would be incredible.
I'm sure that wont be the only positive for HUM.

Agree 007, but would add what twogoals suggests and purchase more or all of CORA.

This quarter based on 33,000 oz output and average POG at circa $1580 is roughly $52 million.
Then take away AISC at $840 an oz leaves roughly $24 million.
Annually if it continues at this pace its roughly rounded up is $97 million and our MC is £79 million, which is $97 million.
All rough calcs, but if debt is paid off by mid 2021 a near 100 million profit before government taxes etc.

The problem is we don't know how many are infected. The number only refers to people who have been tested in hospital. We have been self isolating at home for the last two weeks because my daughter developed a new cough. Did we have it? Nobody knows. There isn't even a number to phone up and register that you are self isolating, so they cant map the country for hotspots of the virus. Such basic monitoring is not being done. A one or two day figure even with the background I have just mentioned is not a green shoot, just a variation. None of this will be linear.

And if I remember right, are we not debt free early next year? With gold predicted to increase in value and some of those predictions much much higher than now, the SP will have to skyrocket to reflect true value. If that is the case, its going to be some takeoff. I am not from a financial background, but I cant see it any other way.

As I understand we don't export out of a port. We have the gold picked up on site, already sold, so once it leaves site it is nothing to do with us.

Physical gold in big demand now as banks and institutions are being asked by investors to convert their paper money into physical, and the said investors are finding out the banks haven't got the gold.

Pulled out of CORA a few months ago and moved the money into one of my other stocks. The hope was to see a quicker profit there and move the proceeds back into CORA. Alas everything is up in the air at the moment. So happy to hunker down and watch from the sidelines and wait to top up.

I notice the physical gold and the paper have realigned today.

I hope it does come first, been here way longer than I had anticipated. But it looks better than it ever has, so still holding on for our party;-)

I was mechanical engineer in the Army first and so the tec you speak of does intrigue me, so what I would call a side bet, and the bio tec certainly has come to the fore now. You will have noticed all really are future based with regards to growth rather than the here and now.

A very positive sign comes from the Chinese market, which a few months ago was experiencing similar troubles as most of the rest of the world today.

Looks like HUM going to produce just shy of $50 million before stoppages in the quarter, and we have a market CAP of $77million. I remember the good old days when we had a mud field worth over a $100 million. Those where the days;-)

seen the price of gold fluctuate this fast. Still going in the right direction. Physical supply being hoovered up. Will be an interesting time when this virus is a memory as there will be some readjustment of world economics, particularly with regards to China and Russia seeing as they have been stock piling gold for a long time now and already deal in their own currencies with regards to oil purchase. The dollar may well have to take a back seat and gold may be once agin used to back currency.
