Not the right board but who in their right mind would want to use it for anything else.
In six months I've managed to lose maybe as much as 20% of money I have put in shares.
Can't say as I want to get into CFD's EFT's, shorting etc and probably don't have money to do them anyway. For me its buy, sell, hold and take divi's.
I have made some rubbish decisions at the worst times, equally I have made some good decisions with reasonable timing. The main problem is I just haven't enough shares gaining to offset my portfolio of losers.
At the end I have lost 10% of my wealth ignoring my home, which has probably lost as much in that time anyway.
Can't really afford another 6 months of this, and saw little alternative but to sit tight or sell up, therfore sitting tight.
After banks stuffing me a week or so back, I have too many retail shares hurting me as well, and then this share and NNG. I feel I must at least review what I have money in (my portfolio's) and how I assess same shares.
Should I be looking at specific sectors, ie 'transport does well in recessions' type of thing.
Should I be staying out of whole sectors like I should of with banks in last few months.
Where else should I look beyond company websites, press that I have time for, and fundamentals. What should I make of what I read.
I can see this becoming far to all encompassing, so will leave it at that any tips, thoughts etc.,
