1)And, there is more to come. Newcrest showed a diagram of Hole 6 Extension that they drilled to show that it is o p e n at d e p t h at 1,216m [deepest at Havieron although it was said that they would go to 1,000m]. Also, it is o p e n to the North & South. [Ref: Newcrest Qtr results 25 July 2019]
2)Newcrest stated next steps:
Look for new zones
Look for extent
Look for depth
[From Greatland Gold*s RNS on Geophysical etc, it was said that in terms of depth it can go to 1,400m and beyond. Kindly check]
3) I checked through 2 Australian geo*s that post on this forum with 30 years industry experience and exploration geo & the other with 25 years as a geo. The latter said that it is relatively cheap to go deeper with the drilled holes prior to the said results. So, maybe, Newcrest may go deeper after their analysis at 1,216m at Hole 6 Ext?
4) Anything with 1 Billion tonnes mass is technically termed Tier 1 and if copper ideally 1% cu [if copper]. That is the dream of many seasoned investors of junior mining stocks. So, is it the desired target of Rio. On Hotcopper AZY last night, they said that Rio and AZY [JV with Rio] will be presenting at the 5 Aug 2019 Diggers & Dealers Forum in Kalgoorie, Australia. There was a link to one of Rio*s presentation wherein they said they are expecting a Tier 1 discovery in Australia and that these come every 4 years. Further they invite co*s to approach them with cores and they have an open cheque book for Tier 1*s. Link: https://hotcopper.com.au/asx/azy/
I will go with the industry norm for Tier 1 evaluation and cited by N.Mather in the case studies shown which Tony Manini also stated.
I wont quote any figures as it is common knowledge ie if Tier 1 hypothesis?
