No particular person was named to Australians on Hotcopper. However, it was Brits ie GGP shareholders and if people have gone overboard, then its fair that we take on board some expert*s views.

However, I think people enjoy Sal*s views on Hotcopper in the past as its just learning general info.

However, I think if Pang*s post was left to fade, then it would have not been of any note. That is up to the ASX and Pang since this is not his 1st time. I did have pity on the person he named at the major. It can affect a person*s career and maybe their home is at risk if they are made redundant? Hence, why Hotcopper does not want people to name names in the real world where damage limitation becomes difficult once its out without evidence?

I was by myself on this forum and it needed to be said.

If this was posted on Hotcopper and not carried to this British GGP forum, then it is also somewhat less ?

However, it was taken to this forum and that means that the major etc RNS etc is called into?

For that reason, one way or the other, we need to present facts and expert*s view.

Otherwise, I would not have needed to elaborate.

Many old-timers have seen this before.

I hope you take it in the spirit that it was posted - it had to be said.

If others could have posted the facts and expert*s view to lend balance, then it would not have been just up to me.

However, most people are enjoying their weekend.

So, I had to do it otherwise, it would have meant that only 1 view is shown ie Pang*s of Australia.

Newbies would have been shaken per experience, hence the whole picture is alway welcomes with facts, RNS, expert*s views.

No one can guarantee anything but at least one knows how to view facts vs a view that is not backed up except that it is not good enough - but how good does it need to be?

Telfer was built into a mine - it was good enough and hence Havieron has to be evaluated on Telfer and the results of the drills are very detailed in the reports. Newcrest own the Telfer mine and up to them and after all if they dont know their own business who does?

[My comment: Numis*s broker report was prepared PRIOR to the Newcrest latest drill results at Havieron [Hole 12-14]. Yet, their potential figure concurs with Mr Langley*s. From the Numis report, they did not state exactly 3moz but that this would be Newcrest*s target figure before they got into the project decision? So, please check.

8) Last night, I went to Antipa Resources website [just type the name of this co and it will show up in the search engine]. I then click on the ANALYSTS REPORT. There is a HARTLEY*S BROKER NOTE on Antipa [ASX: AZY]. Antipa has licences around the structural corridor to Rio*s Winu and has a JV with Rio. They have some licences nearer Telfer on their own.

HARTLEYS mentioned HAVIERON IN A SECTION ON ITS OWN. There was NO comments like what Pang has said on Hotcopper AZY.

As far as I am aware, HARLEY*S of Australia are significant players in Australia. Again, they have Geo*s on board.

MY QUESTION:
As a holder of Greatland Gold stock, would I consider that we, Brits at GGP are "getting ahead of ourselves"?.

Answer: NO.
Why?
If we are, then Newcrest and their Geo*s including the Economic Geologist & Head of Exploration dont know what they are doing when they are a MAJOR MINING CO with a mkt cap of billions and considered within the top tier. They have so many Tier 1 projects so its hard to believe for 1 moment that Newcrest, Sprotts also with their Geo*s, Numis with a Director who*s a Geo, William Langley also a Geo hired by Sprott? to inspect the cores etc are NOT to be ...but to depend on a contrarian view like Pang who has reported another co but the ASX has NOT AGREED with his view? I have not check further and I am not living in Australia but I should think that by now ASX is quite nuanced on this subject ?

Others on this forum ie GGP who are shareholders are FREE to FORM their own view. Since I have experience at Solgold, I am familar with this type of external geo whose cannot provide a name but says that NO project is good enough excep

I have just seen your post to Sal and I am not sure why Havieron Hole 10 & 11 are mentioned?
From the Newcrest "Plan View Map" they have drawn 2 dotted lines to the WEST side at Hole 12 & 14.

Hole 11 & 10 are OUTSIDE these lines they have drawn.

From what one can see, Hole 13 is to the RIGHT side of Havieron BUT WITHIN the 2 dotted lines Newcrest has drawn.

IT IS OBVIOUSLY THE DRILLING PATHWAY [ 2 dotted lines] that Newcrest is drilling ie Hole 12 & 14 [WEST Havieron] & Hole 13 [EAST HAVIERON].

Why do I say that ie I cannot agree telling Australians on a public forum that we at GGP are getting ahead of ourselves!! LoL.

Why:
I provide evidence:
1) I quoted the NUMIS research report of 29 pages as written up by Alastair Ford, Mining Capital Analyst in brief. Mr Ford quoted Jonathan Guy, Director of Numis who is a Geologist per his Linkedin and a very respected figure in the industry. Mr Ford also goes on to say that Numis are heavyweights in the industry from recall as a para phrase. Numis did A CALCULATION OF THE HAVIERON DEPOSIT per the dimensions given. Are we, at GGP to believe that this is in fact NOT CORRECT ie Numis Director*s issued report? We, at GGP have gone with an accepted industry broker who*s Director is a Geo and from his Linkedin which I checked, he has experience. Hard to believe that they got it wholly wrong.

2)When Newcrest made the announcement on 9 Sep 2019, I would think that like the London Stock Exchange, their version of the Broker & Nomad must have a look at it prior to its release. They did not see anything that did not pass muster in the style of the announcement?

3) We have read AFR [Australian Financial Review] and other Australian publications that TELFER is due to close and therefore the ore from Haverion will be transported to Telfer per their agreement etc ?

4)Sprotts did a report on Greatland Gold*s Havieron. I noticed that the geology they cited is the same picture from TELFER as they too referred to Telfer*s geology when they look at Havieron.
Again, we, at GGP have this report to refer to. The Senior that wrote the report is again a Senior Geologist and assisted by another Geo from recall.

5)From the latest Sep 2019 GGP Presentation [last page] I noticed that they showed a CORE from HAVIERON with a hand. I recognise

I did note what you said about 2.5km. However, I am careful to be cognisant that one can only factor that in IF GGP has identified it officially in their RNS as the "strike" length.

However, as Newcrest tweeted they are looking to "within the footprint of the magnetic anomaly."

So, at this stage, I am not going with what would be wonderful but not supported yet by firm geophysics.

Already, the 1,000m x 1,000m is far larger than the already drilled length of 300m per Numis and per your own cals.

I am not surprised by this as Newcrest themselves said they encountered "high grade" intercepts and that they will be going on to STAGE 2 of the drilling. They have the experience to informally know what Havieron Hole 15-19 results are roughly, be it their internal assay office at Telfer, XRF readings and experienced geologists.

I was hoping that there are so many Australian geologists on this forum and on the various Paterson Australian junior explorers that they would shed some light on the geology of the area etc.

The Havieron prospect belonging to GGP was drilled before by Newcrest and they would have announced the results somewhere. However, I would think they would need to file a report to the Australian Mining Dept. In such a report eg internal they would know the geology better.

If your 2.5km mention is SUPPORTED by new GEOPHYSICS, then I need not go further.

Hope that clarifies.

For me and for what Alastair Ford said in his article as posted in this thread, there is going to be a difference of what comes next ie in terms of the size of the Havieron deposit and by extension the mkt cap or share price as DICTATED by the MARKET as per his article.

So, marked difference to come or not depends...

In looking at the bigger picture of what Newcrest has described as a "Massive System & Open" per Rising Resources Stars within this thread, then we, as shareholders of Greatland Gold would only be interested in SIZE of Mineralisation be it West of Havieron as drill results of Hole 12 & 14 show.

Whether it be North or South per the Plan View of Havieron, that will be when Newcrest starts on the drilling next.

I notice that Newcrest has NOT done any extensive in-filling except to enter Hole 6 as an extension basically to test the further depth?

That is really good as it shows that they are "searching for additional zones" as per their tweet on 9 Sep 2019 [Newcrest].

Personally, I am not invested in Artemis [Armada] project [neighbour to GGP-Newcrest Havieron] so I am not in a position of "?" as the shareholders of Artemis. If it turns out for them, its good.

So, we at Greatland Gold are only interested in:
Havieron and what actually will be the size of this deposit. It makes a difference if it is a HIGH GRADE discovery [Numis pencilled in initially 2g/t gold].

I refer to: "Numis coverage of Greatland Gold is a HARBINGER OF GREATER THINGS TO COME." - Proactive Investors, 22 Aug 2019 written by Alastair Ford, Mining Analyst.

Interesting that from the article, the market rules and said to be kinder to an exploration co with the grades and financial heft of Newcrest.

My Comment:
From the Newcrest "Plan View" Map of Havieron as issued on 9 Sep 2019, it shows that Havieron HOLE 12 is almost on the straightish line FROM Hole 2. The "HISTORIC MAGNETICS MAP" from GGP shows Newcrest Hole 12 & 14 is WITHIN the Black Line "Ground Gravity Magnetics." On this map, it shows GGP Hole 1, 2, 3 & 4 are within the black dotted lines "GROUND MAGNETIC ANOMALY."

So, it means that Newcrest had moved WEST from the dotted black line of "Ground Magnetic Anomaly" to the black lines "Ground Gravity Anomaly."

Interesting in that we can see where the anomalies lies and what Newcrest*s said tweet is about ie magnetic anomaly etc.

Just for discussion and comments or correction if any errors.
