From the article:
"Bolivia picks Chinese partner for $2.3 billion lithium projects."- Reuters, 6.2.2019
Quote:
"6 RIVALS also sought to partner with BOLIVIA on COIPASA & PASTOS GRANDE including
ACI,
URANIUM ONE- subsidiary of Russia*s state nuclear co Rosatom AND THE IRISH COMPANY CLONTARF ENERGY."
To read, just put the title into the search engine.
Observation:
So, during 2019, the POLITICAL SITUATION WAS DIFFERENT under a DIFFERENT PRESIDENT.
Now, the NEW President has called for INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS to invest in their lithium projects. Coipasa and Pastos Grande is North and South of the massive salt lakes. The new President, Luis Arce is also being advised by Benchmark Intelligence who are experts in lithium and this article is on Twitter under #clon.
So, the FACT is that CLONTARF ENERGY WAS 1 OF THE RIVALS OUT OF 6 IN THE SAID REUTERS ARTICLE WHO BID FOR THE SAID LITHIUM PROJECT IN BOLIVIA and the winner was a Chinese big co.
So, anyone doing DUE DILIGENCE will know from the above Reuters article that ACTUALLY BIDDING HAPPENED.
At the moment, the DETAILS ARE YET TO COME OUT relating to the calling of new international investors to invest but the few names have come out ie GANFENG ETC. This is also on Twitter under #clon.
CLONTARF issued an RNS dated 6 May 2021 to state they are in "NEGOTIATIONS" re: Bolivia lithium.
Everyone UNDERSTANDS THE WORD NEGOTATIONS and hence why the mkt cap of CLONTARF is one that appears akin to a SHELL MKT CAP OF £3M.
IF [BIG IF], the negotiations DO NOT EVENTUATE INTO AN AGREEMENT, THEN OF COURSE
everyone who has bought in on this UNDERSTANDING of the Clontarf 6 May 2021 [including myself as new investors] are WELL AWARE that the RISK TO REWARD is great?
Same analogy as another lithium explorer in MALI -WITHOUT A MINING PERMIT , the mkt cap was modest but well OVER £10m as they have some gold projects. BUT ONCE THE CO SAID, THE MALI GOVT HAD CALLED THEM TO DISCUSS THE PERMIT, the mkt cap shot to £45m but I do not know how much it is now.
THIS IS THE SAME FOR ALL CO*S DEPENDENT ON EITHER A CONTRACT/AGREEMENT etc.

The share price of Clontarf is holding firm at the moment @0.36p/0.39p to sell and buy @£3m mkt cap mark. The recent placing was 0.32p. Given NEW INVESTORS IN CLONTARF, the share price naturally rose from the placing price and sits steady at this moment as there is NO HEAVY SELLING?
BOLIVIA- LOTS OF NEWS COMING OUT. The new President of Bolivia was the Former Finance Minister and from ALL THE NEWS, the new President wants to OPEN UP BOLIVIA*S LITHIUM.
So, that is where we are at - EVERYONE IS READING THE NEWS COMING OUT FROM BOLIVIA but many on this forum may NOT have been aware, hence why some of us POSTED the news from Bolivia and this includes GERMAN INVESTORS interested in the Bolivia lithium which is stated to account for 50% of world lithium? That is common knowledge and stated by Clontarf in their said RNS. DYOR
