I just recalled that there was supposed to have been an OFFER FOR MANKAYAN FOR $10M.

-80% of copper supply comes FROM PORPHYRIES.
-The authors of the study took data from some 115 co*s & found that COPPER RESERVES HAVE GONE UP IN THEIR RESOURCE BANK using a CUT-OFF OF 0. 2 5 % cu copper FROM 0. 4% cu previously.
- SUPPLY OF COPPER DEPLETION.
-The authors think that the situ of using lower cut-offs cant continue forever.

Observation:
Mr Colin Bird, Executive Chairman of BZT said in an interview with Zak in 1 of his co*s recently the same thing ie 80% of copper supply comes from PORPHYRIES. BZT*s MANKAYAN IS A PORPHYRY.

Mankayan*s JORC 2004 [Snowden] was 1.3Mt COPPER & 4.3 MOZ GOLD.
MMIH*s UPDATED MANKAYAN JORC A/C TO 2012 STANDARDS CAME TO:
6.9 MOZ GOLD
2.8 MT COPPER
20 MOZ SILVER.

At the time, I did logically reason out that like Mr Bird*s other co, the scoping study showed that if copper price was US$7,500, the copper grade is 0.2% CUT-OFF [ECONOMIC] and if copper is US$10,000 the cut-off grade in 0.15% cu copper.

For Mankayan, BZT paid some £5.2 million to buy Mankayan at the time and after BZT took it over, they drilled a further 9 holes for some US$5m. So the cost alone is some $10 MILLION vs £13m mkt cap @0.32p/0.35p, Fri, 15 May 2021. Many co*s that drill porphyries to JORC standard would be blessed to spend US$10m on it. I cite from recall Havieron*s drill came to some £2.4m at 1 raising to drill several holes ie a total of 9 holes [raised 3 or 4 times? from recall]. However, do look around and see if any prophyry can be drill for less than $10m to JORC standard.

So, as the authors stated, depletion is evident at copper co*s.

So pleased for all the REM^ers who got into REM plc at 0.9p or 1p per their own words posted on KDNC [new name for REM plc]. Pleased for you Barksy1 and all your family and friends that invested in REM plc - Mr Lenigas and board of REM - KDNC did not let REM^ers down -one*s faith in good people is restored. However, from today onwards, NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO CONTROL the iron ore market and what the next 14 years++ [Amapa iron ore mine once commissioned + extra 24 mths to ship the iron ore stockpile+24 mths to re-commission ] will potend. Forecasts give a clue but it will NOT go out as far as 14+4 yrs to come. Usually, the forecasts are on a shorter time frame.

I have been a few years posting on the London South East forums but I now find it too
tedious to continue as its the naysayers that have a too negative view and on the other side too optimistic. LIFE TELLS US THAT IN BUSINESS, THERE IS SUCH A THING AS COMMERCIAL REALITY. It is this MIS-PRICING MODEL THAT IS IMPORTANT - what is the CORRECT SITUATION OF THE BIZ, HOW MUCH IS THE FAIR VALUE ETC vs the share price and MKT CAP.

I am thinking of taking my leave from posting on the forums to take a break to renew my batteries. The LOCKDOWN PERIOD WILL BE OVER SHORTLY ie May 17, 2021 and given it is SUMMER, I think its time to enjoy the wonderful weather and the joys of summer.

So, if you do check and find that I am not posting, its due to my taking a break. As such, I have also pared down on my investments so that I do not have to do continuous research and keep an eye out for every news and development micro or macro.

Referring to my post below, by chance I saw Barksy1*s post on Fri, 14 May 2021 that she is NOW IN PROFIT as a original REM*er. From Barksy1*s posting, I gather some of her family etc also went into the REM investment at the time.

After 7 years of the lithium BEAR mkt, Cadence Minerals has MANAGED to come out and INTO A COMMODITY BULL RUN or rather the start of it.

A blessed escape, one which few have managed. I remember one chap who was not a fan of the Chairman left REM and went into Wor----ton which was delisted. So, everyone knows that AIM is not one for the faint hearted. Hence, in my experience only, REM PLC IS ONE OF THE GREATEST COMEBACK STORIES /CO*S.

It wasnt by CHANCE that this happened given that the Founder did his best to try to inject new life into the co once REM*s foray into lithium did NOT succeed in taking over Bacanora Lithium at £1. So, Mr Suckling was appointed as Chairman and from a metals background. There are different stories as to who introduced AMAPA to Cadence but that is not important now.

From Mr Lenigas*s tweet he had hoped that REM mkt cap would recover to its old situation. This would be around 1p or 0.9p , MKT Cap £47m wherein many bought into REM after the party which I did not attend.

So, effort was put in and that was what gave new life to Cadence Minerals, the new REM plc.

NOW THAT EVERYONE IS IN PROFIT ie 1p and 0.9p holders from the PARTY , it is a time to really share be happy at this comeback of REM plc. It is human to be happy for everyone in this group.

However, I will NOT BE PART OF THE CADENCE MINERALS 2ND LIFE WITH THE AMAPA PROJECT the main stay as it turns from EXPLORER TO PRODUCER. As a producer, it will depend on profitability, iron ore cycles/prices, re-commissioning etc. That is TOO LONG A TIME FRAME FOR ME and I do NOT NORMALLY INVEST IN JUNIOR PRODUCERS OR SOON TO BE IN THE FUTURE PRODUCER [POTENTIAL].

So, I bid farewell - this is a courtesy note to thank you for the goodwill.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Many said they wanted to GET THEIR CAPITAL BACK. So, whether they do effect this or continue is up to them given what is ANOTHER JOURNEY under KDNC, NO L O N GE R UNDER THE REM SHIP under the Founder, David Lenigas.

As Observer842- I wish you well and at this juncture, Bacanora Lithium has now a possible takeover offer from Ganfeng which has just happened @67.5p. So, whether Sonora has 8.8Mt of lithium or otherwise is NO LONGER of importance given Sonora*s days under the old umbrella may have a change of owners.

Prior to investing in REM plc, I was in another co and I have also openly thanked the co on OPEN Twitter.

On a stock in more recent times, I thanked the Executive Chairman of an Australian copper exploration listed in London on the forum given he said he reads the forums and has NO Twitter presence for himself or the co.

I have SEEN THAT PEOPLE THANKED GERVAISE HEDDLE AS WELL ON OPEN TWITTER, CEO OF GREATLAND WHO LEFT THE CO RECENTLY.

Many also engage with Gervaise Heddle as he has a Twitter account when he was the CEO.

So, ordinary people from the old school know how to thank.

The above is not in answer to you Barksy1. As for Barksy1, she has been in REM plc in the 1st stages of the drilling as many others who are no longer posting eg one chap from London who knew a lot about warrants etc. So, lots of people but a handful who have kept up at REM plc.

do not experience the type of situation as I and many have on the REM forum. For that reason, I chose NOT to post on the main forum as going to and fro is not something that is positive.
London South East advised to ignore or FILTER. So, I am taking their advise as well as they said there is NO need to disclose personal holdings or answer what are indirect questions on finances.

Given many of us HAVE ANSWERED before, I do NOT think that one needs to go to that route again.

Once it is put on Twitter relating to REM^ers [those who said they bought at 1p or 0.9p] it is something joyful for others to know. I clicked on to the number of impressions today and they run into more than 100 from recall. I have not checked further.

When it is put on OPEN twitter to Mr Lenigas and KDNC about the wonderful news which I am sure they will be glad to know as others who have kind hearts.

However, it does not appear to be such a happy situation on the other Sonara co [JV] and how the matter will end is unclear at this stage. However, on 6 June 2021, one should know more.

So, a courtesy note to all of goodwill and RESPECT for others that the story of REM plc has ended.

The new KDNC has a different strategy in Amapa which I do not have much interest for given I have never invested in iron ore co*s.

It was an exciting journey that REM could have picked a TOP NO 1 LITHIUM DEPOSIT/RESOURCE which is now ranked and much talked about in Mexico. If the Mexicans are wow about Sonora, how much more those of us in REM.

So, any surprise that one has respect for Mr Lenigas who founded REM and whose 1st project was the Sonora project. Others on Twitter also tweeted that REM financed the drilling and I have kept that tweet just in case there is further to and fro. This is perception bar Ventana.

Further to my post, I thought I would let you know that the story of REM plc has come to an END with your good self in profit for the 1st time as with many others given they also bought at 0.9p or 1p. These are the REM^ers who went to the London REM party. I did NOT attend as I was part of an earlier REM group eg Isdeer, Pensionpot, Rose etc [few people]. It was only later that the bulk of people who bought in after the said party.

I tweeted on Twitter to David Lenigas and KDNC as I am sure they are NOT aware that the party attendants are in profit now. As you may be aware, Mr Lenigas said not too long ago something like he thinks the mkt cap will get back to the same level or to that effect. I did NOT attend the party of the London REM-KDNC AGM*s so I have less contact with KDNC.

As you are aware, everyone on REM used to tweet and follow Mr David Lenigas and even today, the #davidlenigas thread is very much active. I used to see Mr James there etc.

Once I have put it out there on Twitter with a positive note, I know that the truth is very liberating for those who have had to go through those lean years of the lithium bust which took down many lithium co*s like the Canadian Nemaksa which was bigger than any of the London listed co*s.

I am a study of co history and I been with REM since inception but NOT from day 1. I saw the forum active and decided to have a look.

Now, NO ONE can say that the co has not tried to stir the co to a much better place. I remember one blogger telling Ivy on EMH that KDNC would not be able to sell its shares on the open mkt but it was obvious to everyone that a small raise would not be too difficult. That in fact happened although the blogger thought it was the DEAD KNELL for the co.

Mr Lenigas has just tweeted that he has invested in Australian plays in Paterson. I dont have at this moment much interest in gold exploration co*s as the price has not lived up to expectations given the crypto mkt has taken some of the shine from the gold mkt. So, I do NOT follow Mr Lenigas very closely as my interest at the moment are NOT aligned to the same co*s otherwise it is always interesting to listen to what he has to say given he would know more about resources than most lay people.

So, a STATIC MOMENT for REM^ers and it now depends on what they want to do with their REM positions. I am currently reviewing my own position given the inflation situation has come into play and therefore I am at cross roads.

I take my leave and choose not to answer to questions that have been put to you, observer842, Ivybush etc as even the govt does not ask us our stock positions and the London South East has advised me before that there is NO need to disclose personal finances ie stocks.

A symbolic start of the end of the lithium bear market and COINCIDES with a recovery in the resource sector. I note on Twitter, there is an absolute silence [no repeat of the past etc] on that thread and the reason as you said is, that is the "truth."

The chapter on REM is NOW closed with the recovery and IN profit situation. However, what happens AFTER this is ANOTHER NEW CHAPTER that will bear NO link to the past.

I hope Barksy1, you will keep abreast of what I said about the supply and demand market - today*s FT article is instructive. That is the rule of all resource markets.

Observation:
As I stated on this forum about the 8.8Mt of lithium with NPV of £3.4 BILLION - as said the NPV is more than just for Bacanora*s VENTANA owned 100% by them [88% mine feed] at some US$1.23bn. The bigger NPV is ON REM*S 30% JV AT MEXALIT [GREATER SONORA LANDS].
Oh, they do teach theory that a low share price = low mkt cap could mean a management buy-out or takeover. This Seeking Alpha writer uses NPV as a benchmark. He quotes that Lithium Americas and Piedmont trade on 70% to NPV.

So, we await to see what is next.

On Twitter, someone who I did not know tagged me and went into expletives about REM plc which had NOTHING to do with me.

ALL stocks are subject to swings and it depends on how each one handles those swings or risk/s. In the case of Barksy1, a REM^er, she held on etc [Barksy1*s post said she is now in profit].

Now, I tweeted to David Lenigas & KDNC about 1 REM^er has moved into profit ie from the horse*s own mouth and post on KDNC. The mkt cap as I illustrated does evidence this. I have read myself posts from other REM*er as to how much they paid so that is how I know.

I am pleased therefore to hear that it has now come to the point that REM^ers who held on a/c to this strategy [HISTORY NOW AND NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL] is now in profit.

That was what many expressed. For me, I now know that all the noise is now HISTORY.
We, REM^ers can now all move on.

What happens next is up to the individual now and what strategies they deploy or NOT?

So, hence why I tweeted to David Lenigas on open Twitter and to KDNC who have brought about this day. Many co*s and investors are not so blessed - one iron ore co went down ie Baobab etc.

Today, I read on the main KDNC stock forum [new name for REM plc] that Barksy1 , from the days of REM plc under David Lenigas, Chairman is NOW IN PROFIT.

KDNC share price is around 29p+, M K T C A P £ 4 4 MILLION.

At the all time high, REM plc hit 2.25p with a MKT CAP OF £95 MILLION. Dallasdaz gave the exact mkt cap. I also read some of the REM*ers paid 0.9p or 1p. This means a REM MKT CAP OF £ 4 7 MILLION.

In the last few years of the LITHIUM BEAR MARKET, REM*s Bacanora shares [20%] saved the day in that they were able to sell these to survive the bear mkt. Now, KDNC has EMH [European Metals] shares left from the REM legacy days of some 14% or so [not checked in recent days] but that stake comes to £14m give and take [check if interested what is the latest for self]. Therefore, £30 MILLION OF KDNC mkt cap may be ATTRIBUTABLE to either Amapa Iron Ore project, 30% Sonora JV with Bacanora-Ganfeng or 30% JV with Hastings [Yangibana] etc.

SONORA LITHIUM
IF David Lenigas did NOT have the commercial acumen to do a SCOPING STUDY for Sonora Lithium which came to $2 BILLION NPV [REM RNS 22 Dec 2014], then when it comes to the time of the MEXALIT 30% JV [Megalit has no 43-101 per KDNC on their website], it has NO baseline to negotiate with. Some brokers like Edison use Value-In-Situ but other Tier 1 Investment Bankers use NPV. Seeking Alpha said that REM plc did something unusual in that BCN NEVER COMMISSIONED A SCOPING STUDY FOR GREATER SONORA [Mexalit they mean] but that REM did it for the SHAREHOLDERS BENEFIT. INDEED SO. I posted the Seeking Alpha article [said] on REM plc which still exists on London South East not so long ago. SO, THIS IS FACT.

As for BACANORA SIDE via a Feasibility Study Estimate, it was only US$1.253 BILLION NPV.
This is for the 88% Ventana etc which belongs to Bacanora.

If the Ganfeng takeover of Bacanora succeeds , it will take some time if the offer is made firm in early June 2021 and then followed by many months before they get clearance from their govt.

So, in fact, the 30% JV KDNC OF MEXALIT HAS A HIGHER NPV IE ALMOST DOUBLE THAT OF BACANORA.

What transpires next is going to be interesting. It will depend very much on the SMALL PRINT IN THE REM MEXICO LTD AGREEMENT WITH BACANORA. Is there an signed agreement then of NSR [Net Smelter Royalty] if REM does NOT want to come up with the capex or capital costs? Or what else is in the agreement or AGREED TERMS? Only David Lenigas, former Chairman of REM plc will know the ins and outs as he would have consulted the legal people to draft the said agreement. This is the agreement that will count per my understanding which is norm.

I will let Mr Lenigas know on open Twitter of the good news but I will not use your name Barksy1 except to say 1 REM*er is now in profit [per your words in verbatim today as said].

RESEARCH will provide more interesting take on the co. Many forums want to know the latest news and I am sure on this forum it is the same too.

That*s my position, research before buying and like Chitta said, one awaits whether Clontarf will get "OVER THE LINE" in Bolivia. As Chitta123 observed from the share price yesterday, "part with their cash with their newly acquired shares although this will be the case for some."

Yup, indeed, I did part with my cash to buy Clontarf shares and hope the journey will eventuate in Clontarf being successful in cementing their venture given that the lithium testing is being done per the Clontarf May 2021 presentation. If not,then I could become a bagholder and would have to await developments in Ghana etc.

PRICE ACTION AT END OF DAY, Thur 14 May 2021, it ended @0.36P TO SELL AND 0.39P to buy.
Obviously, there was a few bigger buyers yesterday like the 1m buy.

Everyone has noticed that there was NO DUMP AS POSTULATED BY 1, the FACT WAS EVIDENT THAT IN FACT, NEW INVESTORS HELD. NEW INVESTORS BOUGHT FROM THOSE HOLDERS who wanted to sell. If there was a DUMP, then we NEW INVESTORS WOULD BE NURSING A LOSS.
I am sure everyone knows that £54 PROFIT is not one which most are interested in.

My pattern is the same on the few stocks that I buy. The theory is simple, if one invests a large sum, they cannot afford to put the whole sum at risk and therefore they de-risk at some point partially. I do NOT have this strategy and hence why with a LOWER CAPITAL SUM, I have to hope for a much larger % gain if any. MY STYLE IS RESEARCH.

OBVIOUSLY, NO ONE BOTHERED TO LOOK AT THE NEW MAY 2021 PRESENTATION PUT OUT BY CLON. THE CLONTARF MAY 6, 2021 SAID THEY WERE "IN NEGOTIATIONS" IN BOLIVIA AND THEREFORE, THERE WAS NO FURTHER DETAILS. IF ANYONE LOOKED, THEN THE SAID PRESENTATION GAVE DETAILS TO LEND TO THE SAID RNS.

Hence, why I posted here ie to share that the SITUATION IN BOLIVIA HAS OPENED TO LITHIUM .
For me, I note all the other co*s in Bolivia are state co*s like the Russian energy co behind one of the co*s. Others are like Ganfeng, the biggest or bigger lithium producer from China etc.

So, CLONTARF as far as I am aware is the ONLY London listed co in Bolivia interested in lithium.

POST APR 17, 2021, THE SITUATION IN BOLIVIA HAS CHANGE WITH THE NEW GOVT ---THE OLD CLONTARF WAS NOT ABLE TO MAKE HEADWAY AS WITH ALL THE OTHER CO*S INTERESTED IN THE LITHIUM IN BOLIVIA.

THAT IS THE CHANGE IN GOVT AND CHANGE IN OPENING UP THE LITHIUM RESOURCE.
NO ONE CAN GUARANTEE WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT so one has to check and find out as one goes along.

I will leave the postulator to continue with the requisite thesis given the short posting history of 5 official showing externally vs the new investors who have a much longer posting history.

NEW INVESTORS IN CLONTARF
With the 6 May 2021 RNS from Clontarf stating that the co is in "negotiations" relating to Bolivia lithium and Ghana [oil], many NEW investors have entered this stock.

I did research on Bolivia lithium BEFORE I bought in. The difference NOW and PRE-May 6, 2021 was that Clontarf and many other co*s that were in Bolivia were NOT able to ENTER except one German firm. It ended up with litigation in order to secure the agreement but little is known after that as to what happened. THERE IS NOW A CHANGE IN GOVT and my article I posted yesterday evidences this which was DATED 17 Apr 2021.

From yesterday*s share price, as I said, there were some SMALL SELLS of around 4 and then a BIG BUY of 5m [£19k+] worth the day before. Yesterday, first thing in the morning there was a 1m buy. Hence, why the share price was much stronger as the MM offered a better price to obtain shares. Even then, it goes to N/T after X millions. This does not affect most people as they are not after a LARGE holding. However, the LARGE BUYER of 5m shares =£19k+ is one in which may be a new investor, institutional buyer [Clon stated in their May 2021 presentation that 20% are institutional holders] or large trader as NORM in many stocks.

I think Chitta 123 yesterday [13 May 2021 @18:42] SUMMED UP the view or position of ALL NEW INVESTORS ie they parted with their cash and "not just a QUICK RINSE and this NEWLY ACQUIRED SHARES although this will be the case for some. For me, I am not IN BIG given that it is dependant to what Chitta123 said below ie GET OVER THE LINE IN BOLIVIA. If it does and DEPENDING ON THE DETAILS, yes, it could be very good but hard to say how much. That is the RISK NEW INVESTORS ARE TAKING, SOME MORE WILLING TO TAKE A BIGGER RISK AND SOME LESS, like me. Like Chitta 123 said, maybe some are here for trading and that is up to them. As I said, £54 showing in my account over quite a LARGE CAPITAL OUTLAY is not feasible. Take the £54 with the capital and enter another stock and the spread alone will wipe out the profit. Hence, my position is like Chitta 123 and I hope that it will pay.

Others waiting on the sideline waiting for CLEARER NEWS may have to PAY more or IF the share price DOES NOT GO UP, maybe they can catch it at these prices.

I DO NOT INVEST in a lot of shares and therefore I am here as a NEW INVESTOR which many will have seen me in the few stocks. I try to get in early and WITH RESEARCH, hope to be in early on a potential resource play. If NOT CORRECT, THEN AS A NEW INVESTOR, I COULD BECOME A BAG HOLDER, hence why I do not enter in a big way. Those who enter big have other strategies but I am not privy to them.

So, CLONTARF ENERGY*S MAY 6, 2021 STATING THAT THEY ARE "IN NEGOTIATIONS" relating to Bolivian lithium is bore out by the article above dated 17 Apr 2021. Also, the Clontarf Energy NEW May 2021 Presentation gives further details including the TITLE as said ie the Bolivian govt invited proposals. It is also stated in the article about JV*s.

So, it does appear that after the proposals were handed to the Bolivian govt by these 15 co*s, CLONTARF THEN ISSUED THE 6 MAY 2021 RNS ON THEIR BOLIVIAN LITHIUM SITU AND THEN GAVE FURTHER DETAILS IN THEIR PRESENTATION that is backed by their 6 May 2021 RNS.

So, PROOF and EVIDENCE of the lithium events from the Bolivian govt and former Vice Minister.

How interesting. I read from another source that Ganfeng intend to acclerate the Sonora lithium project but there were no details. 5 FOLD!! Now, one knows what they meant. I have to check what is the current arrangement is later.

BERENBERG
I have just been reading a full Berenberg note on one of the co*s with a JV in Paterson, Western Australia with a mkt cap of £814million.

It was stated by Berenberg that the USD/EV oz value for an Australian mid-tier is US$714/oz gold which is more than the global peer group. Also, that delination is hoped to be 12MOZ gold. From recall it currently has 4.8moz or 4.3moz gold.

Observation:
Mankayan has a JORC of 1.3Mt of copper and 4.3Moz gold per the Jorc 2004.
MMIH updated the JORC to 2012 standards and Makayan now has 9.6 MOZ GOLD, 20 MOZ SILVER AND 2.8 MT COPPER.

The above co that Berenberg is reporting on has NOT ever had a takeover offer.
Mankayan has received a takeover offer from Goldfields , a multi-billion co quoted on JSE and USA NYSE for US$70m based on the 2004 Mankayan JORC.

BZT*s mkt cap is some £12m+. So, there is an asset and is NOT a jam tomorrow as said by one poster?

Looking forward to the next update from Mr Colin Bird, Executive Chairman , BZT as the ZAMBIA 3rd hole result may be due? Zambia has 6% cu grade from the last interview and if there is a MIRROR copper pit, that is positive going forward. Of course, others may be interested in Gorab, Namibia also copper.
