I would be truly amazed if we didn't do another deal with BP soon.

Shearwater would be an excellent fit afaic with Columbus due online 2021 and the acquisition to go for after the Shell deal fell through imo. With the possibility of adding c23kboepd the size of the deal ($) could possibly be classed as a reverse takeover and would mean the shares get suspended ..... shorts will not want to risk that !! The only fly, is this would not make SQZ operator, that will remain as Shell. Although Shell may be looking to exit too at some stage, who knows !

Should the improbable happen and for some freak of Trumps administration, they shift the goalposts at the last minute and we have to follow US requirements ( which imo is unlikely btw) thus cease Rhum production, where would that leave us ?

The licence would only impact on Rhum field, Bruce and Keith will still be producing +12kboepb net via the Bruce platform. Add in Erskine and we climb to 16kboepd net. We have +£95m cash (est) plus £115m tax pool, so worst case scenario, SQZ without Rhum is still worth north of current SP. On top of this we would have an automatic uplift in revenue from 1/1/20 as per BKR PSA. Which without Rhum's production will still add c2.5kboepd. This would mean we enter 2020 with est net production of 18.5kboepd.

We should of course, as I expect to happen, enter 2020 with >36.5kboepd net production.

At the moment gas is 40.650p/therm way above our BKR hedge of 35p/therm.

With our average OpEx one of the best in the business for NS operators at only $12.30/barrel.
So the cash continues to roll in....

I'm not loosing interest, quite the opposite, the next few months or so will see some interesting developments imo.

Little acquisitions that are not part of SQZ strategy will only dilute our performance.

Deals, as you know take time, esp if you want particularly good ones. Who knows, our board could easily be working on several company enhancing deals at once, and tbh, I would be surprised if they were not. Bit like when you spend ages waiting for that Number 11 bus to come along ..... you know what happens, several appear one after another. I do think we will see activity akin to this over the next 9 months. Could be deals / merger / dividends / main market listing / drill activity / additional licences etc or even a takeover ..... !!!! I reckon at least 5 of these in the next 9 months

After all, this is a highly cash generative company with no bank debt and turning over substantial profits.

As for the wavier, I agree, that should be a massive positive once confirmed and as such our BoD will no doubt inform the market as soon as we have confirmation.

The one big issue I have is the reason behind the months and months of intensive daily bot trading occurring on SQZ. This too will be something that may come to the surface soon.

Like I mentioned, I'm happy to wait.

All shareholder have a say by way of their holdings. You hold a share you have a vote.

Reject means reject .... could offer more or not.

The problem is what is a realistic offer that the majority of holders will take .... that would depend if it gets that far. imo METRO is a real headache for the banking system atm as not one of them would want to see it fail then no one wants to support a failing bank either. The 9.5% shows how much under the cosh METRO are, this could easily go the way of RBS.aimo
