RE: Red Dot in the Morning, Shorters Warning.23 Dec 2019 19:20
Dilberty,
Agree, both Andrew and ETAP are also probable targets for SQZ, maybe more so than Shearwater.
Andrew, c18kboepd gives SQZ another challenge in that to maximize the return, SQZ will need to be innovative with who and how they work with and fracking is the real challenge here for SQZ ( not sure how much in house experience they have).
As for ETAP, (c21kboepd) this also give rise to another challenge which imo is more suited to SQZ skills base imo. Re-using existing infrastructure to create another new NS hub and subsequently greatly improve operating efficiency .... which is why this is a front runner of the two options imo.
Shearwater is an outsider, as you say, SQZ aim to be operator. But given Shell backed out of the deal to acquire BP's 27.5% makes me wonder ..... would they too be looking to off-load for the right deal. Particularly as Shell have now seen BP BKR model proven.
Too many mouth-watering options ..... whats not to like.
Not long to find out imo
