Gas up today, Brent >$62 cash rolling in as SQZ have one of the lowest opex at US$12.30/boe in the NS. With our 35p/therm hedge rolling on into 2020 too and est CoH £100M. Plus shortly to increase our BKR revenue by an additional 20%, other than the SP sat at 118p, all is rosy in SQZ garden atm.

Cash rich, debt free and a transformational deal or two on the near horizon.

Humm, based on my estimated 2P remaining at $10/barrel plus our CoH and current share capital, I arrive at 192p/s

Negativity, really, I'm just trying to a pragmatic and understand as to how we are where we are and a possible reason behind it. Excluding the PW effect of course.

I am heavily invested here at a much higher average so I'm seriously considering averaging down should the scenario I'm suggesting happen. If we are to make a 'natural' recovery, then that's great, but I do have concerns given SDX history to get the SP to go in the right direction. The past 18 months the sp has been in terminal decline and imo undervalues our company as it stands atm.

As mentioned, with SD online and production building, Morocco building too, SDX could easily be a self-funding acquisition. Our BoD have to defend against this so its critical they have the backing of our 2 majors shareholders ..... !!

I would think the market should be responding to our last set of results in a positive and meaningful way within the next month or two at the most. If not then we should all ask ourselves, why?

Just looking at AMER's T/O offer of 53.6% on their WMA(90) ...... thought I would look at ours should a similar scenario occur.

So using a WMA of 126p at a premium of 53.6% would take our SP to c193.5p ..... at this particular point of known known's, many would take that imo.

If we get an offer on the same metric as AMER then we could be looking at around 32.3p based on WMA(90).

Although everyday or SP closes above 21p WMA it will possibly increase the offer..... all be in negligible amounts. The opposite is also true !

Interesting that we have been constantly pull down on good news ... all to lower the WMA imo.

I think our future has already been decided many months ago.

Worrying Times .... I'm of the opinion that we are now in the window for a swift takeover after the confirmation this week our tanker is turning around, and at not much above our 100 day VWMA, which is atm a sickly 21.7p. Premium of 45% to this would be c31.5p. Not good news for anyone other than the acquirer.

With SD online and production building, Morocco building too, SDX could easily be a self-funding acquisition.

A bid would need to be soon given the timelines involved ...... six months on from now and SQZ will be a different animal and hence would demand fair value.

Yes, we will increase our revenue by 20% from 1/1/2020, plus our 35p/therm hedge will continue into 2020.

SQZ is continuing to bring in the cash and make really decent profits ( see last accounts). Their next mega deal, quote by Mitch to double the size of the company ( due shortly) will no doubt address the balance of commodities.
Production is being increased YoY and once R3 is online with Columbus and our next mega deal I anticipate SQZ will be a >70,000boepd company.

Are a PE group about to snap us up !

Well at c120p you could virtually guarantee the PE investor would reach their milestone of 2x or 3x ROI, particularly when the next mega deal/s land. There are also several NS players that are backed by PE firms that could also make a bid for SQZ.

With BoT's playing the SP for best part of 2 years, I think we could be an easy target atm.

Well, nothing in the results to be concerned about, just need to growth the business and concentrate on increasing production and FCF
