No, we didn't, so why one this year? SQZ were very quick off the mark with quite detailed ops figures and flash presentation, not something you put together in a little over a week after the Xmas break. To me it is almost a 'for sale' flyer, showing what we are all about. Just wondering if we have been approached and SQZ want a few more to join the party! After all, the response by the market was un-expectantly extremely positive .... or could just be our board being pro-active.

Probably just me spending to much time thinking in bed !!!! (at my age, glad I can still manage that)

This true, question is can the right call be made as so much hinges on unknown and third parties outside the control of LEK.

Office Mgr, clearly you entered LEK at circa 10p last Monday, thinking this was a dead cert ...... now holding a loss you are trying to discredit anyone that has contrary views to yourself. You are trying to convince people to buy .... at which point ( after averaging down today no doubt) you will exit, pronto, once you recover some / all of your losses. Fair do's, but lets be honest about shall we !

What is amazing me atm is we have not been approached for a t/o ..... yet !

With the profits SQZ can generate together with the free cash flow, anyone could takeover SQZ on a fully self-funding basis.

Payback could be as little as 4 years.

There will be interest in us, esp as these figures (£) do not include our recent 20% uplift in BKR revenue from our PSA. Most of which will go straight to the bottom line .....

We really need to be trading in the 140 - 170p range at the very least .... not 110-140p

The hedging is fluid as stated "Since then Serica’s strategy has been (and continues to be) to monitor the market in order to identify opportunities to increase and extend our hedging cover over our retained share of gas production"

Plus the swap prices are different to BP put deal of 35p/therm. You could argue that swaps are better suited for SQZ atm, the BP puts were to ensure we didn't fall fowl of the lower gas prices until we go our own house in order (as we have now done) .... and as it has proved to be, an excellent part of the BKR deal process.

It is almost impossible to calculate the financial cushion these represents as it also alters with production volume.

Don't forget the BP deal was just for BKR and excluded Erskine. Hedged percentages put in place now include ALL production, so afaic SQZ are covering their bases ..... plus we still have BKR production hedge in place until July.

I have no concerns in the ability of SQZ to further improve our hedging given the opportunity.
