With Boris drive on renewables, this may be one that SQZ could be interested in :

No debt, c£25m CoH, 2P reserves of 45.7MMBoe, 6.7Kboepd etc...

Tom Cross as we all know has the right credentials, question is are SQZ interested in a merger or full t/o. Their board looks like it could do a straight swap for ours giving ACW et al NED positions and to take life a little easier.
If t/o, as you say 40-50p/s (£18m-£29m net) would be all it takes imo

Closed well down ..... last 4 minutes or so, the SP was forcibly driven down from being stable all day around -1.5pts to end the day -4.6pts down

BoT fired in multiple small volume trades one after another, around 50 of them forcing the SP lower and lower.

Slow day trades wise today too, up to that point only ~27 trades, next to nothing volume wise.

So, our SP is not being manipulated on a daily occurrence then ..... lol

Yeh, not sure why gas has dropped +12% over the last 3 sessions !

LOL ....Today the UT pops us back up 3.6pts after its UT 3.6pts drop yesterday. ... lol !!

Paul, these sales are early adopters and those that are financially able with no worries about range or charging access and green credentials. You will find that the take up curve will begin to flatten quickly as these early adopters are exhausted imo.
Secondhand car market will become stronger and garage repairs more costly as demand for these services to keep the 'old banger' on the road grows. aimo atb

Are batteries really the way forward ?

In 2017 there were 27m households (ONS) in the UK, last year the UK built 170,000 new homes ...... Although the "The government will bring forward, to 2023, the date by which new homes will need to be warmed without using gas heating." ... this IMO will make no difference to UK Nat Gas demand. You then need to add-in the demand for generating more electricity for the national grid (green revolution) via gas powered generators and the result will be to drive UP demand, aimo.

One thing the UK excels on and a world leader, is NOT keeping to major infrastructure projects timescales and budgets.

Crossrail started 2009 and was supposed to be fully finished and earning revenue .... over budget and years behind, then we have HS2 .... don't think we will see this completed for +20 years ..lol

What I'm saying is, 2030 will become 2035 within a few years, which will then become 2040 and so on, unless the gov gives massive tax breaks and the price of electric cars fall dramatically, then and only then would the UK stand any sort of chance..... even then !!!! lol

That aside, imagine electrifying the new markets of Africa and Asia, South America .... just will not happen lol.

News on several fronts re vaccines will boost the markets more. FTSE performance well down vs DOW so money will easily move to FTSE from DOW stocks, plus our friendly shorting HF will also want to turn their positions around. Absolute zero chance of this ever seeing sub 200p again imo.
