On the plus-side, Gas futures cracked 60p/therm today ... ;-)

So decided to lock-in my 12 month gas utility provider rate even though its now 40% higher than 12 months ago, still much lower than competition though ...... zero exit fee just in case !

Pity our SP is not 40% higher than 12 months ago ..... lol

Brent not bad either .... however, caution imo as Goldman Sachs expects commodities to rally another 13.5% over the next six months. They see Brent prices rising to $80 a barrel and U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) prices to $77 a barrel over the six month period....

As for GRG, their change in holding does not concern me at all .... in fact, I see it as a positive as explained in my previous posts.

Yep, AXA still show on SQZ holders as 11.99% ..... appears SQZ still need to update this !

Also, todays TR-1 states "Position of previous notification-10.99%", yet SQZ received no TR-1 to that effect ... or there is an error in the form and should read 11.99% as previous notification... hummm !!
I raised this before are AXA Investment Managers S.A. ( as noted on TR-1) the same as or affiliated too, AXA Framlington Investment Managers and as such effectively held by one 'n' the same as AXA Framlington Investment Managers are not one of the listed chain of control either .... Think SQZ should follow this up to clear the confusion.

You do realise that another reason for BP buying back their shares is that it reduces the amount of shares on the open market and therefore can help prevent a hostile takeover........ Just a thought and one I'm sure our Board are more than aware of given recent rumors...... the past is the past, let it go .... what counts is the way forward and securing the business for the future. Great Q1 results afaic .... roll on Q2

Think you made need a word with House Of Saud .... wouldn't surprise me given BP's transition into an energy company, that House of Saud et al would want in here.
For certain I would say that large institutions also see the recovery path ahead and a much improved SP, not to mention the probably doubling of dividend in little over 12 months.
